    PJALSTARz, 13 Apr 2018Whats the difference, it's the same as the J7 Prime Just the front camera they made it 13 not 8 like the old one and the internal storage is 32 not16 but there is a version of the j7 prime 2016 with 32 internal storage but the two phones are almost the same and they both share the bad.tft screen

              I am using J7 Prime for more then 1 year. Never faced any heating/hanging/freezing/network issue on my device. It is my 4th android after Galaxy Trend (4 years old and still working), On7 Pro (first device buying online from Amazon) and Lenevo Tab (No SIM).

              Anyway initially I was hesitant about a full body metalic device, after noticing the massive heating issue and battery blast in some cheap Chinese brands. So, buying J7 Prime as a main device wasn't an easy decision for me.

              But honestly saying it out performed my expectation. A decent camera, fast fingerprint sensor, beautiful screen with a LED notification light, slim build, massive battery with 2 day normal usage and 1 working day with hard usage. As for apps Samsung has a lot of cool features in it like Samsung Pay/Mall etc. Also I tried few games like NFS No Limit which worked well for me. Anyway that is my old J7 Prime.

              But as for this device glad to see they used the same trusted and proven hardware. And also increased the ROM and the front camera to 13 MP. Overall I think if anyone needs relaible device for everyday office work and managing life, then it is a good choice.

              I agree that it lacks few sensors or very heavy processing power like few of the Chinese devices; but still

                galaxy j7 prime 2 & j7 duos 2018 FAILD indian market 100% because processer is using 3 year old in this time using 7885 chip because not using
                j7 duos 2018 using 7870 chip 4GB ram but processor is very weak lagy phone 2018

                  I dont' like any phones with width less than 80 mm, stop this unproportionally slim junk. Still have my Nexus 6 (83mm wide, 1440p AMOLED)

                    Just same shit, everything remains the same (almost), CPU, RAM, storage, rear camera, battery... What's new in this phone Samsung wants to introduce?

                      we know that its just a mid ranger..but could they improve a lil bit..rather than internal storage and ram?
                      fast charging? or cam sensor? compass? just my opinion..

                              Samsung will never be tired of producing same phones with new names. It is really ridiculous. What can we call it - on nxt, on7 prime, j7 prime, and now j7 prime 2. Really a serial of jokes.

                                      Don't buy it, this phone is an insult. They could've upgrade the SoC to exynos 7880 or higher but they didn't which means the same shit as 2016 J7 Prime in.

                                        Now is 18:9 trend.16:9 is not perfect in present. Samsung think something bater for mid renge.
