but i tried all the things no improvement.....
for 1st month it was good..
and after the last update i too noted that AOD stops its movement it displays the time in same position, when i unlock the phone and then lock it changes its position....
during long time it will shows the time in same position.
is this cause any damage to the display

device mai... moreI had same prob when i bought it. I used following tricks to solve it.
1. Disable inbuilt apps specially google. I use chrome for googling. I have disabled google, operamax, mygalaxy, onedrive (i use google drive), samsung health & briefing(under system apps). Use chrome instead of samsung internet. In my experience it consumes less power.
2. Under developer options turn off window animation scale, transition animation scale & animator duration scale. Dont touch any other setting. This will not only save power but also speedup. Use google to find how to enable developer options. If you think you have changed some other setting then turn off dev options(switch at top within dev options menu) and then turn on. This will reset options to default values.
3. Turn off background data usage for all non system apps except apps from which alerts come like facebook, mail apps, whatsapp. It is under settings->apps-app
4. If you are using 4g only network like jio in india then set network mode to "LTE only". Default is Lte/3g/2g autoconnect. Change it. It can be done under settings-connections-mobile networks-network mode
5. Turn off bluetooth, wifi, location, nfc, aod, sync when not using. You can quickly do it from quick settings(swipe from top downwards)
6. I have also disabled fingerprint for security reasons. In india govt has fingerprints of citizens stored in database.

but my j7 pro battery backup is not good.
it drops more battery even in standby mode(signal is good).
battery is the only problem for me my frnds mi a1 n oppo f5 performs better than my j7 pro.
i don know the reason.
display is excellent(equal to flagships)

Just use the phone more wisely
1- close wifi / GBS/ Phone Data when not used.
2- set the time out screen to be 30 sec.
3- Make some programs you add--> sleep ( like games , applications you downloaded according to your desire ( is can be done from battery optimize under Maintenance under Settings
4- Generally use maintenance feature from time to time
you will find it under settings to optimize the phone System& Battery use.
5- use Saving modes - Select medium mode for most of the day / select maximum when you will Sleep or when you don't need the phone for while
I think you will get better result

... morebut my j7 pro battery life is not good....
it never lasted upto 2 days.
just 22 hours with 4 hr 15 minutes screen on time.
overnight it drops 15%(for 7hrs witout AOD).
Im disappointed.

Marvel Contest of Champions. i have no issues with frame rate drops or a bit of laggy in gaming as long as it is not heating up quickly and horribly.

i have this phone from 5 months ago, it is really awesome till a few past days, i am facing some lagging issues, even when i reset phone factory, on the other side my internal storage is 4.5 Gb free so it's not full storage problem and this issues started after last update for a while so it's not because of the last update !!
is my phone dying !?

All rumors are fake. J7 pro excellent phone. I ilused this mobile 4months no problem at all. Phone screen is excellent
