the Hard glass 2.5 D is for protecting from (light scratches & break possibility if it dropped )
Although it is not mentioned in GSM Arena Site a not mentioned in most reviewing Sites
but it has declared in Samsung official sites
*Any way, it is better to put a protection Screen for this mobile & also use a case.

2-Concerning Battery according to my experience for 2 months:-
It amazing batter life :
as it gives from 100 %
*1 day or more--> normal use
*1.5 day or more--> medium use.
* It can stands more than 2days (some rare cases it past 3days) if you use Saving modes
already available in J7 settings( specially maximum mode) When you're sleeping or don't need the phone some long time.

Camera quality is good looking good but the some of the isuse in this phone is so bad .. like display glass is not good i found some scratchs in my dispaly glass when i used this phone without any screen protection.
And the 2 problm is battery life so bad
I am not happy with this phone

many features ,Elegant design
Camera has some issues, yes -like slow auto focus , edge of objects may got blurry
in low lighting condition
But nice camera over all
you cannot say "very bad camera"

My phone is just 20 days old.
During night from 10 pm to 6am its battery drops from 85% to 73%(always on display, mobile data and all features are disabled)....
Please tell me is this normal or my phone have problem?!?!
