Soumya, 12 Sep 2017Ii bought the J7 pro on 28th August, still date no update,... moreyou may try connecting to the internet. Mine gets updated everytime it gets connected to internet service. Try also checking your application settings may be date and time updates are disabled.

I had bought Samsung J7 pro 15 days back. 4 days back I kept the phone screen facing downwards on the wooden table. There was a mild tap sound. I again picked it to check the screen. It was fine for next 5 mins. But suddenly dark spot started appearing from right side bottom of the screen and was spreading quickly. I went to Samsung Customer service they said this will not be covered in warranty and will cost 9000 INR. I am shocked with such a poor quality display. I did not wish to repair as again a small tap and screen would get damaged. Hence I do not recommend Samsung J7 pro to anyone

You got to also remember these devices that are using last year's processor are mid-rangers, if you want the latest processors go and get yourself a flagship device.
J7 2017 is the same as J7 Pro but they are market dependent. J7 2017 is for the European market with 16GB storage while J7 Pro with 64GB is for the Indian market while rest of Asia has 32GB. What makes it as a "Pro" is that it is replacing the J7 Prime with an upgraded screen, better cameras, bigger internal storage, and bigger battery capacity.
