The accessories for curved screens are hard to find and they are pricier too, say about 5 times as of flat screens. Moreover, they don't fit well most of the times. The device itself gets harder for grips with or without accessories. The grip tends to register a touch on the curved edges. But yes, they look extra ordinary and out of the world. When you hold it, its look & design changes the attitude of you & others towards you. It's like a jewel. The good thing ends there.

          Manufacturers like Apple & Sony have moved away from Glass sandwich design since iPhone 6 & Xperia X series respectively. Their last models with back glass were iPhone 5s & Xperia Z5. Samsung is the only major brand sticking to that design. The back glasses are fragile, they tend to crack from overheats caused by the device. Moreover, a device with 1 front glass itself is hard to be avoided from falling down. Imagine the device with 2 glasses. They're slippery too.

          If you too are against back glass, avoid Samsung (S & A) series. A8 2016 is an exception as it's a metal unibody. You can try C series, all metal bodies. Or the J series budget devices. Sony, HTC & LG if you're looking for premium devices.

              mdtrpa, 23 Jul 2017Only one main difference. J7 2017 is IP54 water/dust resistant. Currently I have the Galaxy S4 since 2014, and I'm thinking of upgrading it since my corporate phone have been upgraded to an iPhone 7 recently so why not upgrade my personal phone as well. I'm thinking of getting J7 pro since I only do a little browsing on the web, facebook, and playing The Simpsons Tapped Out.

              My second choice is the S7 Edge but I feel it is too fragile since it is sandwiched in glass since all the phones I had I dropped it accidentally, several times. I heard also it is difficult to find a screen protector that is case friendly.
