For example, for the same price, take a look at the OnePlus 3T, with Snapdragon 821 and 6GB of RAM. Or, for a much lower price of 17000 INR, the Moto G5 Plus. Snapdragon 625, 12MP f/1.7 rear camera with dual autofocus pixels and the ability to shoot 4K videos, that's the real budget king.
So to say J7 pro is the best one for 30000 INR, I would like to say no.

J7 2015 - Super AMOLED
J7 2016 - Super AMOLED
J7 Prime (REAL NAME: Samsung Galaxy On Nxt) - IPS LCD
J7 2017 (J7 Pro; successor of J7 2016) - Super AMOLED
J7 Max (successor of J7 Prime/Galaxy/On Nxt) - IPS LCD
These are all their differences. The reason behind why J7 Prime and J7 Max is more cheaper than J7 2017/Pro it's because of their capacitive touchscreens. Super AMOLED screens are more expensive than the common IPS-LCD. That's how the differ from one another. And aren't you wondering why J7 Max is cheaper than J7 Pro? Then, still, the answer is about the screen. :-)

Because J series USP is super amoled in budget and J7 prime doesn't have .
J7 pro is lite version of A7 2017 . There's no any update version of J7 prime and could never be.
You can consider J7 Max to be update of J7 prime because it has 5.7 inch Non Smaoled panel and Underclocked P20 chipset.

We have Nokia 6 and Huawei P... moreNokia 6 is crap in front of J7 pro...J7 pro has Samoled , better chipset , better battery , better camera and world'a no1 smartphone brand. It worth more than the price . Samsung should have prices it for 25,000 INR .
P10 lite is just 5.2 inch IPS LCD , 8mp front , small battery , same GPU , China brand .
They both stand no where near Samsung J7 Pro. None of the phones under 30,000 INR had Samsung Pay which is first for J7 pro in budget series and it's mean alot in digital payment era where all other brands just failed.
J7 pro is the best one can get at this price...first time Samsung is giving all sensors at this price and first time using 13mp front on budget phones.
J7 2017 is for other countries and J7 pro is for other countries...they both are same phones.

We have Nokia 6 and Huawei P10 Lite as strong alternative.
This J7 Pro seems like a Good Timely Update for J7 Prime.
J7 prime can be taken out of market. let J7 2017 to be priced below J7 Pro.

Is it better than Huawei P10 Lite at RM1299? or Huawei Honor 9?

I think RM1299 is a suitable price if 64GB internal is UHS, not eMMC.

J7 pro seems to... moreamoled , 13mp front camera , Compass sensor , Gyroscope , Samsung Pay and many more thing.
On nxt is not 15K its 16900 INR ...just 4K differ to J7 pro but J7 pro worth more than 4K extra.
Also J7 pro is considered as PREMIUM BUDGET phone while J7 prime is just a budget phone with no AMOLED which is USP of samsung phones and No sensors .

Joe, 15 Jun 2017well done samsung,plz guys dont compare samsung phones with... moreOnly aperture doesn't make a sense...Picture quality depends on sensor size , pixel size more than Aperture which is not possible to be on any smartphone under 30,000INR
that was reserved for flagship phones only. MotoG4+ tried to give last year but software optimization to run those h/w efficiently is also crucial where moto failed.
F1.7 can only brighten the image a bit but can't improve the quality , its like increasing brightness of image using a editor but editor can't improve quality.

ghoghari sagar , 17 Jun 2017if it was 64rom and 4 gb ram its gonna be a biggest hit bec... more32 GB ROM with Dedicated slot will be uncomparable better than 64GB ROM with HYBRID Slot like china phones.
For RAM - Chipset is not that powerful to please you using 4GB multitasking. 3GB ram is more than enough for this chipset.
