The update was not automatically installed. I had to check on software update and the update was there. I had to install it by myself and the screen is now very responsive and fast - no lag.

try to shake your phone and put your ear near the back of the phone .. do you hear something shaking inside the device ?!

Im using this phone for almost 1 year and I never had any touch issue or what so ever, Im playing mobile legends and working fine, Dragon nest mobile . etc etc. Im using tempered glass too, 1 year without a scratch and working smooth, battery is in good condition too, theres no difference regarding on the battery life when I first bought it. Im not sugar coating Samsung , but this phone works fine with me. I have this phone for 1 year and there is no single problem that I encountered. Im just wondering why other people is having too many problem when they bought this phone, but here in the Philippines its a good midrange phone to buy, Im just saying this because I had this phone for almost 1 year now.

The update was detected when I clicked on Software update under settings of my j7 pro. actually it does not seem to happen anymore after I shut the phone off, turned on and then waited perhaps 10-15mins and restarted the phone. I did it an hour more or less after my post.
Further thoughts about it:
- I do not have TG installed on my phone for more than 2 mos now since tgs available in our area does not cover the whole screen and it does not look and feel good. instead i use the samsung pink flip cover that came together since the screen is easily scratched.
- The color at the back of the phone chips off if you keep it long on a hard case cover so i would suggest to clean and check once in a while or use the soft cases rather.
- battery is what I love about it as it stays up to 2 days with me since im really not a heavy user most of the time.
- speaker sound is very low. wish it was louder as note4
- camera not that stable and clear
- display quality good but nothing like that of the note4

i just installed the software update detected by the phone manually last night and now my phone network signal started to flash off and on. it never did that before unless there is completely no signal in my location.

Then when press another part then go back to the same part only works. I brought to Samsung and they said they help me do reset and check but after that stil the same problem.

Don't buy Samsung galaxy j7 pro only 1 month I purchased display complaint touch is not working I went to Samsung store they you have to pay 8500 Rs then only you can use this phone in my opnion don't buy Samsung galaxy j7 pro this price range you can buy other phone.
