    It's just ridicoulous that we get 6 inch screen with 720p when preiously on the J7 2017 the screen was 5.5" 1080p

      samsung j8 is good look than other old models. i think, samsung has a new way in today's market.

        just cause it is 720p does not make it bad it still is super amoled and is pretty bright hell the iphone 8 is 720p

              Missing notification feature like no notification given about miss call or unread message and no indicator during battery charging.

                        And this is why samsung J and A phones are made for stupid peasants,everything that is not an S class or Note is not an actual samsung phone for me.I don't ever recommend this phones,they are pure garbage,you can buy an allview or huawei they might be better phones LOL :))

                                Anonim, 09 Jul 2018A6+ or J8? And why? ThanksA6+ costs a bit more but is better in many aspects -

                                1. Higher res screen - 1080 screen vs 720 while having similar size.

                                2. Same processor but it will be slower on the A6+ since the same processor has to work with a much higher res screen.

                                3. Metal unibody on the A6+ vs plastic body on the J8. So the A6+ will definitely be more premium.

                                4. Neither has quick charge or Type C USB which is a shame considering the A6+ is a more premium device.

                                5. The A6+ has more sensors like compass among others while the J8 lacks those sensors.

                                Between the two the main USP of the A8+ is higher res screen and more premium design.

                                If it was my choice it would be neither.

                                  Wow for the price it sells at Samsung really knows how to screw the customers.

                                  1. 720p screen in 2018. At 6' you are going to notice the low res screen.

                                  2. SD450 processor. Again something found in very cheap phones but honestly the screen is the biggest let down. An SD450 powering a 720p screen is going to be very fluid.

                                  3. Lack of sensors. No compass, no gravity sensor and others again which are found in budget devices.

                                  4. No quick charge - Even though the Snapdragon 450 chipset supports QC 3.0 Samsung felt that buyers can wait and have patience with regular slow charging :)

                                  5. Micro USB charging slot - Not a biggie but for the price this device sells at its ridiculous to cling to micro USB.
