hello everyone,
i had brought this j max in sep 16.it is a good tab with two sim and highly expandable memory jack capacity..but annoying me is, its touchscreen i dont which type of screen samsung made but it is poor in sensitivity and when i upgarade its software i notice that wifi get disconnect and reconnect automatically several times in just few span of time,though i am in full range.this not happen every day..also the lock screen is poorly designed by samsung,very few themes,no extra folder editing option,only two sensors..all of this shows samsung low productivity in designing its anroid software for this tab.i have j2 ace also,whose screen sensitivity is super,they both have tft screen...but whaterver this tab dont fall completely your expectation..i love to watch hd movies in dark room,love to play small stratigies games in big screen,nd also good for pdf reading,,,good for overall an average person...but sumsung must care about their customer satisfaction...

I am from India and I have not got any update for my J Max for last 1 week for sure. I think Samsung provides different updates to different countries. If you tried everything else than you should do at least a "Factory Reset", than visit the service center. If possible try to talk to people in your country who are using the J Max tab. Regards.

As for... moreI know my hardware better...my tab was pretty well enough bfr the update...updated in morning and in the noon the tab hanged...tried to share file using superbeam..was unable to connect to others phone which bfr the update was too easily getting connected...moreover now my wifi takes too long to search for hotspot and after the wifi found keeps on appearing and dissappearing....well i am already a Technocrat so i already have used all booting and clearing cache and safe mode thing.but everything in vein.so don't worry about that.....what really bothers me is the Samsung's old strategy..they send faulty updates to slow down and hang the phone so that people will be forced to buy a new one..i hope this should be not it

As for network network speed reduction, check the SIM settings. Set them to highest settings. Also the hanging issue is due to cache files. You have to clean your full cache to work Android properly. You can do it by either going to boot manager and clean the cache, but do it on your own risk and unless you know how to do it. Or slyly can install "Clean Master" app (free app) from play store and run it once at least every week and clean all the cache, temp files to make your device run better. Regards.

Latest update has reduced my network connectivity and my internet speed has degraded too much and my phone has hanged thrice since update....and even i hv got problem with wifi direct...anyone facing same???thankyou

There you will be a shown options to change the mode of connect for Charging or media exchange files.

Before i felt scared to buy A Samsung Device bcz everyone single Cellphone get HANG AND Drain Battery Life
But this J Max really Awesome Battery Backup and processing Speed

It supports all Airtel, Vodafone, every company of Sim card. It is one of the best phones from Samsung in this price range. I am very happy to buy it. Samsung is the best brand!

I recommend every person to buy this excellent phone at such a low price! I purchased it yesterday and I am amazed with it. I also have Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Samsung Galaxy A9 pro. In short, Samsung is the best! No other brands can be compared with it.!
