This phone is not for gaming. But, in daily using. This phone is really resilient. I'm using this phone since March 2022, and it's really good. The first point is 5000 mAh Battery, and HD+ screen. HD+ maybe a problem for someone who's using phone with FHD+ or 2K resolution. But it's absolutely gorgeous, coupled with more efficient chipset, making this phone even better for daily use. Well, I used it for gaming, such as Blue Archive, Call Of Duty Mobile, and it's still good in lowest visual settings. About the durability, build quality, etc. As expected with Samsung. I had a motorcycle crash, this phone was thrown away. But, when I take it, it's condition still good. Samsung's durability always as "rocky" as usual. (Sorry for my poor English)

Still a best phone in 2023 and the only entry level phone with a smart view feature (screen mirroring) and a 90hz screen. M12 can truly beat even the latest entry phones today (no smart view and 90hz screen) M12 battery lasts for 2 days in an average use as well. Gaming is good as well. Best phone.

With android 12 i also noticed that some of the UI like the bottoms keys load delayed after waking screen via fingerprint. Those who say android 12 is way better does not use their phone that much to notice the difference!

Best entry level phone that I've had. Great for gaming, sound and camera are best, battery life lasts for 1-2 days on average use and does have screen mirroring as well. Good job Samsung on this.

Just found out how to disable the proximity sensor from youtube named Velian Speaks Tech because since
I bought this samsung phone there is a problem with the m12 proximity when during call the proximity will activate
screen off but it will not wake anymore to wake you need to press power button once even disabled double tap to wake etc.
this one is the only solution i found after a long search since i bought the m12 to completely disable the proximity so the phone wont screen off during call
the proximity sensor does not work properly anyway with already so much updates so disabling it much better
Must be in one ui 4.1 latest android 12 update you galaxy m12
1) Dowload from playstore the app named activity launcher
2) Open activity launcher then in the search bar of the app type labs
3) Open labs then there is an option you will see disable proximity sensor set it to always
4) Done you disabled the proximity sensor enjoy even restart will retain its settings still disabled
5) Uninstall now the activity launcher

Android 12 made this phone a lot snappier than before. I was afraid to update because "battery drains quicker and performance became bloaty" comments here. Idk certain settings or background app might responsible for that and not the update itself.
For features, only feature I noticed is the screen flash notification which is not really useful as it cannot be used while screen is off, only when I use it which will make the feature a nuisance rather than useful.
It's a cool update overall.

So much improvement on the latest update (after android 12 update, there should be another improvement update), the animation is way smoother even in gesture mode. I knew samsung can do it
