About ads even in settings menu, dont know about that, but maybe is there when is India set as region, because i was use 4-5 Xiaomi devices (from MIUI 7 to 10), and ads are there since MIUI 9, but like i said, you can turn off recommendation, and about ads in settings, there was none, but region was Germany.

Angshuman, 12 Feb 2019Ha ha.. R u living in dream. Even samsung shows adv in their UI.But Samsung shows ads only on Lock screen as Lock Screen stories and you can disable it so not a big issue but in redmi ads are also in my files, music and mi video and their browser.
Also mi phones have highest radiation.
