Nitish, 01 Oct 2020Phone getting slow or lagging after one UI 2.1 update. That's why I kept the update in hang. I am afraid my M21 will get slow and sluggish after the updates. It happened earlier with my J6plus which finally I had to sell off.

I got it a couple of months ago. Not bad for its price (170 euro here in Eastern Europe). It's very important to mention that the screen is yellowish and there's no way to fix it (doesn't matter its amoled). You would never know if you've never used a premium quality phone, so I quess this is why noone mentions it. I also got a sony xperia (old model but premium when launched) and next to each other the difference is striking - natural soft white screen, easy on your eyes, vs wellowish colors like incandescent wire. But again, for its price it's hard to find something better today, maybe sometime in 2021 there will be better cheap alternatives.

Because of the adaptive brightness turned on it drains faster. Any solution for the same?? I did try turning off the adaptive brightness it did help me for saving the battery but any other solution?

Received software update yesterday. Around 1.3 GB.
Added Single Take, custom filters and Night Hyperlapse.
One UI 2.1, 1 Sep security patch. Battery life improved significantly.

1. This phone battery life is good.
2. Display is good.
3. Camara is good.
cons
1. In call it geting heat within 2 to 3 minute.
2. The charger speed is very slow to complete 1 to 100 percent.
3. The prosesser is very slow.
4. This phone is waste for gaming.
5.If we see high quality video with amoled display it getting heat.
This phone is waste for primary phone.
It is superb for secondary phone.

Using M21 for a month as my primary device. Overall the performance is decent at the price point.
Primary camera is good in well lit/outdoor conditions, colors are accurate and HDR works fine. Selfie cam doesn't feel like a 20MP shooter. Pictures look granulated when took in indoor lighting or low lighting conditions and lack details.
Battery lasts me about 36 hrs. with 8h+ SOT everyday. But be informed that I rarely play games and neither do I use any social media applications. My usage consists of mainly watching YouTube, movies (offline), reading ebooks, writing docs, editing pictures and spotify.
I use LTE mobile data and the network capabilities are moderate I'd say, no call drops yet. As I live in a densely populated city, in the peak network usage hours (late afternoon to night) it struggles to maintain a good connection, frequent errors and buffering. But after midnight, or in the morning the connection is very good.
Just one minor issue: When I'm browsing, the touchscreen becomes unresponsive sometimes. Freezes while scrolling the web. It hasn't happened in any other application or anywhere in the phone, the unresponsiveness occurs only while browsing through chrome. Are you guys having it or is it my unit only?
