i got this one, m30s, from day one camera issue, within 3 days of purchase battery draining, there is no display when i get call, i have wait for the 2nd ring to see the display, overheats within minutes especially when camera is on. definitely not happy with this phone

Chris, 28 Jan 2020Guys please help. Which one is better between M30s abd A70?M30s definitely, mind you the average camera and speaker, but m30s has better battery, processor and great screen! If u want a good phone from the A series I'd wait for the a71!

5)gps/compass might give occasional error.. Majority times it works normally though.. I use google maps rarely.. So not tested much about how and when it gives error

Tabz, 22 Jan 2020I have a Moto X4 almost 2 years of usage...am a fan of stoc... moreMy previous 2 phones were Moto g4 plus and g5 plus.. I too am a fan of stock android.. I would've bought moto g8 plus but felt m30s gives better value for money with awesome screen and battery. So, I am using m30s since 2 months now..
It is not as stock as moto phones... It does have some bloat and additional features but that's on manageable level.. lesser than xiaomi/realme
Overall, I am pretty satisfied with m30s.. Screen, battery, cpu performance, ram management etc works as expected
Few odd negative points/missing features which luckily doesn't affect me but I am listing in case it might be important for you
1)lack of dedicated auto brightness sensor.. M30s use front camera to adjust auto brightness which uses a lot of battery..
2)absence of trademark samsung features related to knox security like bixby, secure folder, samsung health, samsung pay etc
3)absence of NFC, in-display fingerprint sensor
4)fingerprint sensor is way too sensitive about wet finger.. If it is quite dry, it works normally but even a little bit of sweaty/wet finger starts giving error
If you can tolerate these minor issues then overall phone is quite good.. I would definitely recommend it

I have a Moto X4 almost 2 years of usage...am a fan of stock android phones & used Nexus phones later Moto's X series phones....Now need an upgrade to a better screen, stronger battery, better camera but a mid range one...Is M30s is a good option though ? Does it suits the lines of Phone i have used ?
My usage includes everything except games...mostly binge watching Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. Should I go ahead with this...pls enlighten me. Thanx :-)
