Using this since July 2020. So far it worked really well. The camera is still fantastic. These days brands are skipping Wide angle lens in this price range. Right now I am facing battery issue. The handset is becoming quite hot while charging. Finally I'll have to replace the phone I guess :(

my mobile is still working but has following issues
- very slow
- ghost touch, also known as phantom or touch screen issues.
- 2 mobile took from flipkart died but mine was taken from samsung online shop still working

This phone is not recommended for long term. My phone died this week after 3 years of use. The ram is the problem because of the constant heat it get from the CPU and battery. It's something to do with reballing and reheating the connectors of the ram. The problem occurs repeatedly. Does anyone has the same problem?

I will try that battery callibaration process when i see my phone is giving less than 75% charge as backup to see if the issue is with battery or samsung intentionally done something.
For now my daily usage takes around 40 to 50 percent charge, so i am fine with 90% plus battery backup and don't need to do anything else.

S, 01 Jan 2024No, i did not.I have have read some comments of other people complaining about the same problem of abnormal charging above 93%.
If its due to degradation of battery than different people must have faced abnormal charging behaviour at different percentage of batteries!
Therefore, it will be due to disturbed calibration or Samsung has introduced intentionally to make people think of upgrading!

I did not buy glass protector separately with this phone while placing order thinking of that gorilla glass bs marketing is there to protect my phone.
Within 7 days i saw some kind of scratch is visible on my phone screne although hardly noticable but i saw that and then bought the glass protecter to defend that gorilla glass bs marketing.

I don't think they use Gorilla glass as advertised. My phone fell from a height of about 50 CM and the screen broke. Further falls increased the number of cracks over the years. Plus, the extra short cable on the charger is only meant to annoy the customer, everyday! Shame on you, Samsung!

But i used to charge my phone till 100%, since i bought my phone from 2020.
I am using that 85% restriction, after i saw that 94% to 100% charge jumping.
So, not sure about that.
If in future i feel battery degradation impacting my regular life, i will try to change the battery first as this device can be used for at least next 2 years easily.

Qsr, 24 Dec 2023I am facing the problem of battery now on my M31. Phone cha... moreI don't think this is a major problem as i am facing same problem with my phone F41 which is almost same like M31.
I think as both of our phones are already 3 year old, thus battery is losing it's earlier backup capacity, hence the problem you mentioned happening with our phones.
I am also using my phone now with that 85% charge restriction on as watching that 92% to 100% jump charging impacts mind more than regular usage.
My daily usage is not impacted because of this battery problem for now but if i face more problem in future, then i may consider replacing the old battery with new one and continue to use it.
You can do the same as our devices can be used for at least next 2 years easily if 5G is not a major need.

I am facing the problem of battery now on my M31. Phone charges normally upto 93% but after that it reaches to full battery within 2-3 minutes. I have tried both fast and normal charging, done battery Calibration but didn't work!
Now battery drops very quickly if i charge my phone beyond 92% but charging approximately upto 85% gives better endurance!
Can anyone help....?

Br, 20 Apr 2023My father's M31 has the same problem. Charges faster t... moreI found a new replacement earpiece speaker driver on AliExpress for very little money and replaced it and works fine. Give that a try if you're comfortable taking the phone apart. It's an easy phone to take apart

It is possible that it is a BGA problem that needs reballing with a hot air rework station. But I am reluctant to try this as it is so easy to damage the board and components trying to reball. And am hoping it remains stable just using the thermal pad fix. So far things are still going well for my beloved M31
