I have had this phone since December 2020, and it has given me no problems whatsoever. However, my network provider is saying I must replace it because it only has 3G connectivity, and that is soon going to be obsolete. Do I have to get a new phone, or is there another solution?

The phone is very slow and does not receive the latest updates. It is not suitable for the year 2025. There are many modern phones at the same price and with better capabilities.

don't buy this phone the operating system is buggy, the device is very slow and will lag as hell while gaming or doing heavy tasks

i bought mine 5 years ago, and still working fine with an android 14 custom rom with new ai features with good battery backup
i highly recommend install a custom rom, it revives the phone

I had been using it until yesterday it got boot loop. I went to samsung store, they said I need replace some hardware, and yeah just not worth. I will buy something else.

This is an amazing phone for the price! I have had it for more than four years without any problems. The battery is amazing, and the durability is great.

I've had it for almost 5 years and have recently bought a Motorola Edge 50 fusion. This Samsung has been one of the most durable phones I've had. It's obviously a mid ranger , the processor was never the best and the design is average. However, the screen has been great, beautiful colors, durability and overall sturdiness. The battery was amazing , 3 days almost. Then it gradually became weaker which is normal. It was receiving updates for years and it works on Android 12 when many new ones come with Android 13 as default.
I would change it for Samsung A55 but I wanted to try something new.
