Fantastic phone. Got mine in 2020. Great camera. Prob better than in m35 in 2025.
I think this phone was way too good for its time and even for today at the price range it was at. Mine still going. Despite no updates hopefully I'll be using it for next 5 years.

I've been using the M31 since June 2020, but there haven't been any updates in the past year and a half. i dont know why did the company discontinue it?

Got mine in May 2020. Still working perfectly fine. Brilliant mobile with a good camera.

Got mine in April 2020. Still going great. Battery lasts for a day and a half after charging it to 85% as per the battery protection feature. No screen burns and the display is still brilliant. Takes excellent photos both in auto and manual modes. Have done a lot of customisations and use it for 10-12 hours with myriad apps, without any issues till date. Have dropped it many times. Hasn't slowed down a bit. A quality product from Samsung.

I brought it March 2020. 3 years back it's charging port got disfunctional. Got it replaced at authorised store . Same year screen turned purple pink after a minor crack but it was light pink and can see things clearly it took 7 days for whole screen to be pink and at last also got it replaced at authorised store. But suddenly from nowhere on 22 Sept 2025 pink spots appeared after almost 24 hours later whole screen was purple blue and screen is dead now. But I can still hear screen lock unlock sounds call ring etc.

abc, 30 Sep 2025Same here. Display screen started becoming purple/pink from... morewell these pink and purple spots that everyones been talking about, are probably screen burns. I have my whole keyboard burned slightly on my phone. you can see them clearly in white mode but in black mode it's alright like it's there but less visible.

I bought one in 2020 and still going great for normal day-to-day use, and the battery lasts one day, even though it used to last 2 days before, but I am happy with it.

I must admit that I have dropped it a few times recently. The pink/purple spot started appearing two weeks back and now half the screen has turned purple/pink and its increasing by each passing day. My friend told me this typically happens due to physical damage to screen on dropping the phone. Now I am wondering whether I should get the display screen changed or buy a new phone. I had bought my M31 in June 2020. The battery has also become weak over these years and I need to keep it on charge at least twice in a day.

about a year ago accidentally killed the motherboard, paid equivalent of USD 71 to replace. going strong still. bought back in 2020.

Its been 5 years 1 month.....
Today suddenly a purple pinkies colour started visible on bottom right, little above the corner without any physical hit.
Is it the software issue?

I swear this is the best phone i ever had. I have a good grip holding this phone. Pretty comfortable holding this with my hands. The thermals is really great. It doesn't get hot nor warm unless the temperature is hot. I only play clash royale. Display is excellent. It's been almost 5 years and it's still running great. Battery is still excellent and can last up to 14-20 hours depending on my usage. Only problem is the volume button doesn't work anymore.

My M31 display got damaged automatically at 15 June 2025.I right now using the damaged display(Violet patch which is getting bigger) M31. My damage is at the bottom right.
Is it like a self destruct screen?

My mom and cousin have this phone. It's camera and performance is good. Doesn't crash or lag. Though both of them had to change the display after a year or so. My mom got an original display which she has been using for more than a year. The phone doesn't have a built in screen recorder but has a call recorder. Also you can't select 4G, you have to leave it auto. Which is very annoying because it switches to 3G or 2G instantly. Overall, my experience is so so.
