Oppo a92 or Samsung m31 which will more preferable. Notice before, i m not a gamer.i just need a long lasting, smooth performance phone.i mainly use smartphobe for web browsing.pls suggest me which one will best??

I moved back to Android after trying iPhone xs for 6 months, there were things I missed and overall m31 is a great phone for the price.
I was interested in it's huge battery and the camera set up makes it look like a flagship. The back is really cheap plastic but I always have a cover on anyway so I just brought a nice case and solved that problem.
6000mah battery I was expecting to last 2+ days, I don't genuinely worry about my phone dieing and I use it for work and a WiFi hotspot so maybe I'm killing it abit harder than most users - but a good solid 1 day is the most I've got.
Google assistant doesn't wake from the lockscreen and sometimes you have to really shout at the phone even when it's unlocked
Touchscreen is really mildly off, like you have to retrain your fingers on where the phone wants you to press, which is only a problem when I'm driving
Camera is quite low quality, first time taking a Pano you can really notice the stitching including different shades of colour that just looks off, for normal random photos I guess it's fine.
Face recognition is not useable but it has a finger print sensor on the back which works fine
Most important for this phone was the price, so I sold my xs brought the m31 and still had £100 extra in my pocket after eBay fees etc.
Overall I would say it's a decent phone, mild flaws might be a little annoying but you can overlook them because of the price, and really it does "look" like a flagship if you weren't inspecting it too closely. It's not a flagship atall, but probably in this price range I would say it's the best your money will get.
How long will I keep it? I don't know if it would keep my interest for 2 years.. maybe 6 months - 1 year max.

July security patch available for download, weighing 627MB.
I noticed touch sensitive been improved, the phone become quite responsive, good job Samsung, too bad is not One UI 2.1 update like A51 & A71, so the camera pro mode remain with only 3 options & no one take function, then again this is pretty much useless for normal user like me.

If I am paying more for A31 as compair to M31 then I think at_least basic features sush as "slowmo" and "timelaps" should be their...which is not in A31. so its just useless investment.if possible make it available in software update.

5mp deep sensor lens just tap a photo in live focus under more options
5mp macro lens just take a macro shot 3-5cm which is also in more options
You can pull the live focus & macro mode to the front for easier access

You can see wide angle in the camera option and that is 8mp only.When you use the live focus that is 5mp depth likewise in the macro you can see in the more option that is only 5mp.

I hardbricked 300 eur of a brand new phone trying to degoogle myself, then I got the same phone second hand for 300 eur (i had had luck with the price the first time), then I finally managed to install LineageOS and I am not going back to being snooped upon and participating in the digital henhouse. Huawei destroys privacy just the same as google. Two tyrants fighting. Yes, I know this is about Samsung m31, I just came here to look for the specs of m31 because of the nice battery. Wish there was LineageOS or E.os for it :)

This phone doesn't lag at all, though is no a fast phone, I mean I don't expect a S20 speed since i only paid 200 dollars for it.

Just upgraded from Honor 8x to M31 but oh my I think it was the biggest mistake of my life. M31 just lags and lags when I want to open the gallery it takes like 2minutes for the photos to load. Huawei is doing something right with their hardware. Samsung needs to up their game.

This is a good phone, absolutely perfect for those who need a phone just for web browsing, facebook and whatsapp. Battery is excellent. I personally own this phone and I get more than 3 days on average use. 6000mAh battery is more than enough for me. At first I had issued with the big screen sized phone but I got used to it later on.
I have no qualms on camera because I am not a camera person.have
Processor is good enough. I am using the 6gb RAM version and its blazing fast. Apps get installed in a jiffy.
Phone calls are clear and speaker is good.
People who say bad about this phone have never probably used this phone. They probably must be salesmen of other brands.
I will give this phone 8/10.

Work perfectly, the battery life is amazing, not a fast phone but no lag at all, can't complaint for a $200 phone.
Basically I just need a workhorse phone with fast GPS navigation & M31 fitted my requirement perfectly.
