Pay Maruti price but expect BMW & Mercedes Benz performance... lol

I am completely disappointed with the camera, camera app and camera api on this phone. Even an Honor 8 almost outperforms the camera in most circumstances, especially low light, and offers much more control. Can't even use Open camera properly to compensate for the flaws in native Samsung software because they've handicapped the api. The camera is a badly implemented 16MP sensor that could produce good composites and could reach for a new level if more control was given to the user, but as it stands, it's just a weak sensor. The software is even worse. Samsung forcibly processes the photos, and especially the NR algorithm makes complete mush out of details that could be preserved, instead favoring strong contrast boundaries that are emphasized by actually drawing black and white lines wherever seems appropriate. Useless, worthless. If you want a good camera, shy away from this one.

It is a good phone. Specially in comparison to the other phones in same segment. Battery and camera is the bestest part of the phone.
But the processor is outdated. Even the processor can be bearable but the worst thing about this phone is it's durability. It goes dead when fall from the height of 4 feet only. So the durability must be enhanced.

Neil, 09 Jul 2020im planing to buy this i wanna more review can i have your no broWhat you pay ia what you get, don't expect pay 250 usd & end up with a S20 ultra 5G specs phone, it's good enough for daily usage, as long as you don't expect a flagship performance.
Everything is moderate, no serious issue, no heating, no lag, reasonable camera, light gaming, crazy lasting battery.

I am from Titwala, India. Having used this phone for a month below is he feedback:
Overall good phone, especially display and Battery Life. On the other aspects here are the comments.
Charging Speed : Good. Could have been better at 24A with competition in same price range. Let's hope we get this in M41.
64MP Cam : Overall good but lacks in two areas. Colour should have been slightly cooler and also when zoomed at 8X, objects beyond 30 meters not very good quality image. Camera software needs improvement. Rest of camera features good.
Processing : I am not a gamer, but for most aspects its smooth and haven't experienced heating so far.
Lock Unlock: The face unlock asks for a swipe. Should be AutoSwipe.
Conference Call: There should have been easy UI for conference call.
Would give a 8/10 based on my current experience.

So far never seen any manufacturer provide headphones with their cell phone...lol

Phone is good. Camera doesn’t feel lik 64mp. The major draw back is that it doesn’t support 4g mobile data.. it supports only 4g lte which is slower than actual 4g data. No one mentioned this before and I bought it without knowledge. Rest all is as good as other Samsung products

from sri lanka. last day got a m31 for my wife. so far no problem. working fine with quick charging. no over heat. display and cameras are working fine.
