Well, I see that many people are complaining about the phone, how ever the phone is been excellent for me, I have been using this phone for 2 months with hard core gaming and it been great, the camera is awesome and also the gaming is smooth as fluid, this is been a great phone till now and i had no issues with speaker or jack, its absolutely doing its work, I bought the phone when it was launced and this is the first slot, I am feeling lucky too, the battery charges way too fast for me within a hour :)

I am using the phone from last 2 months almost. Facing following issues. 1. Fast Charging takes 3 - 4 hrs for full charge. 2. Charging doesn't happen when car charger is used. 3. Fingerprint sensor is useless for unlocking. keep getting message that 5/10 attempts are made to unlock & failed, whereas I would have not even touched the phone. 4. Face recognition is one more useless thing as it never recognizes my face. 5. Portrait mode doesn't work properly. 6. When wifi is on and even though it is weak, doesn't connect to mobile data automatically. Hardly have any pros except camera which is better than my old phone.

The sales and service department is not owing any response for changing the set. Company’s reaction is miles far from satisfaction. A very bad experience which will resist me from purchase of any Samsung product in future. I will also discourage my friends and relatives to buy Samsung products.

Biso, 19 Oct 2020Thank you so much 💐I just received my new replacement unit, and sadly, this one also makes the noise from the audio jack. Seems a bit less than my previous one, but could be that it will get as bad after using it for a week like I had done with the previous one before trying the headphones. If you are wondering what noise I'm talking about, check my original post from the 15th of October. I don't know if I will just return this device, or keep it and put up with the flaw. I have 15 days to decide before my refund window closes. If Pixel 4a becomes available in the UAE at a normal price (some importers are marking it up by 50%) within the next 15 days, I will definitely not keep this disappointment.

Is there an defect for M31S Mic. Whenever I talk to someone else, the listener complains that they are unable to hear the voice properly. The issue is while making a Video Call, using External Speaker. Is this a known issue. Anyone of you have the same problem specific to the Mic ?

Biso, 18 Oct 2020I wanna buy it from UAE , is the UAE version a good one?Unfortunately, the UAE version comes with a 15W charger in the box. Kindda annoying. The phone itself still supports 25W charging if you get your own 25W or greater charger. Other than that, it's fine. 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, from Amazon.ae or Samsung website. Amazon is cheaper. I'll update you when I get my replacement in a couple of days, and let you know if the audio jack problem was just that 1 unit, or perhaps all or a batch of them are flawed. I have seen a few reports that people had the same issue with their replacement unit too, and I didn't see anyone reporting that their new unit did not have the issue. That has me a bit concerned, but you know how it is. People are much less likely to return with an update when things go well. I'm really hoping that is all it is :o) I will be coming back though.

Go to sound settings- turn off touch sound and lock sound

I was happy with it for 1 month , now the phone has started freezing at least twice a day , during normal usage. I don't play any games. I think that I have made a mistake by buying it. Earlier I was using xiaomi phone, I changed to Samsung as it was a reliable brand and I didn't wanted to buy a Chinese product. Now I feel a bit let down.

Mine is made in Vietnam, bought from Amazon.ae (UAE Version). It's possible that the units built in a different factory (for example made in India) do not suffer the same flaw. I noticed most of the M31s reviews seem to be using units made in India.

I got it replaced but n... moreOh No. I called the Samsung Service center and asked if this was a known issue with the model, or just my unit, and they assured me that it's not a flaw in the model. So, I just applied for a replacement. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hopefully I'll have better luck with my replacement, otherwise I'll return it for refund. :-(
And then wait for Pixel 4a to become available in my region.

Please be aware that the M31s seems to have a defective Audio Jack design. It generates a static/buzzing noise anytime the device plays any sounds (like even when just typing), and it gets much louder while charging. I am disappointed that no reviewers seem to have bothered to test the audio jack. But I guess it's such a basic feature that no one would expect a company like Samsung to screw it up. My device has this issue, and after doing some research, I see others have reported that even their replacement device has the same issue. So it does not appear to be just some defective units, but rather a design flaw affecting all M31s. Seems Samsung forgot to design electrical noise isolation for the jack.

Poor speaker and mic. quality.. trouble for both caller and receiver..
just used for 20 days.. feeling like waste of money..
didn't expected this quality from samsung
