Hey GSMArena, when will we get a hands-on review of the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy M31s from you?
You guys including other analysts/critics have said a lot about Samsung's latest M-series mid-ranger though with nothing to show relating to how good or faulty it is.
Hope you do a review soon.

This is a very nice phone. It gives you the peace of mind of your data not being stolen. There are no ads and the os is so beautiful. Chinese phone offer a bit faster performance, but that is at the cost of privacy. Chinese phones are not an option for me. This is a value for money phone because it offers decent performance, with extremely good display and a very good camera, while maintaining your privacy. I've so many apps installed, still the phone works so smoothly. I think the performance issue comes only when you install some extremely heavy games. Normal games run very smoothly. Those who think that oneplus, xiaomi and vivo offer so many features at the same price point should also consider the fact that they earn money by selling your data. I could not think of a better phone at this price point. The battery life is also good. The phone feels premium in your hand.

Personally there is something called "brand value" and "privacy" and least of all in the case of so called better options "data security". Now i understand the economic value of M31s/M31 is quite low as it is costly and has lesser specs than market offers in same price segment but a few consumers to whom the points i aforementioned matter are likely to look over that because they are "Not so heavy users". I am personally one of those "Not so heavy user" and had considered all my options before opting for M31. Now I know it is about M31s but they are similar in most aspects and price deflects around 2k from M31 so don't hate me there. I have been using this phone for quite sometime and the "lags" or " lesser day to day performance" is hardly visible except its important to you to make a career out of it like Tech Reviewers. I am not a china hater nor a Samsung lover. I have used Redmi note 4 earlier and it is a good phone. So I know my s*** enough for that. Specs is not what everyone looks for and these phones like M31 and M31s are for people like them/me. Just because something is available doesn't mean everyone likes it or wants it. Exynos is an average chip i know but its not bad. I have experienced like most, no lags when playing PuBg and COD because we are not ones who play for hours to the end. In normal tasks there have been no lags and frame drops are hardly visible. Rest assured the battery of 6000 mah gives me enough juice on exynos to watch youtube 10h straight(yes that is SOT i am talking about) and still have 30% battery by EOD. Now i don't know if you have used many samsung phones or have a defective piece but like majority out there, these phones outperform themselves in day to day tasks and multimedia consumption.
Please don't take this as a hate comment or anything. I have shared my experience after enough use of variety of phones and just putting out there that there are many out there who don't care about top end specs but other intangible things like security. Hope so this helps.

When i search for A40s it direct M30 to me, is that so?!
I am just waiting to buy M31s. I think this is best choice for me. I mostly need Battery, DualSim, and Mapp APP.

Then they should not bother to go for shitty exynos 9611 processor. Its not just that 9611 gives bad performance in heavy gaming. Even in day to day use, things are not as smooth , exynos has bad power management and drains battery. It also heats up the phone

Mahesh , 14 Aug 2020Upgrade to 5gThen Samsung need to provide it with Exynos 980 or Snapdragon 765, as Exynos 9611 is not 5G capable.
I guess you have to wait for M32 to see whether Samsung would give Series 5G or not.

the 6000mAh battery seems impressive but keep in mind that the 10mm chipset will produce more heat and consume more power than 8mm and 7mm chips other competitors use.
