I own it from past two months. I can bet on good battery life. I downgraded from Note 2 but I am happy bcoz of few facts:
1) good battery (all day wi-fi is on and still I have charge left while going to sleep)
2) big screen (good to edit excel and word docs)
3) light weight (lighter than Note 2)
4) Dual-sim card support, which I find it helpful while travelling and using local sim (I dont have to keep my original sim in security)
Its better to go for this rather than spending double the money just for HD. I watch HD movies at my home home theater :-)

I got this Mega two days ago and first thing I notice is the batt life is very good. Overall performance is not bad for the price and everything is decent and fine. Screen is clear and acceptional good quality. Recommended.

I am a sony fan-but suffered video recording with low sound recently I purchased sony xperia tx-i sold that and purchased samsung gelaxy mega 5.8 and put 64 gb cord I am fully satisfied in all respect

The I9152 (dual-SIM) I bought in Nigeria has only 1GB RAM (not 1.5GB). It is known that Samsung cuts down on specifications for its dual-SIM (DUOS) versions. I think this point should be highlighted. Also note that the DUOS takes only the micro-SIM size, not the regular SIM.
