I dunno y samsung make fool about this version update. Its hopeless!!! M replacing my phone with a Xolo q3000 its better than this.lot more functionality.

Cm 12 (lollipop-5.0) is available at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-mega/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t2943628 for mega 5.8...it has some issues but overall working fine and will get better with updates....if you want to update your mega 5.8 to newer version of android consider unofficial custom roms as this device might never get official newer android update from samsung

Guys dont warry u wont get kitkat update for this mobile if it was it should have received long time back its better to have jelly bean there are few problems in kitkat update still u want to update then u can go for xda link they provide kitkat update fot mega 5.8.

it keeps rebooting. all night all day. i have to pull the battery out because it will freeze . they supposedly replaced mother board but still does it ..
