Xperia sp is a direct competitor and has much better chipset and gpu for gaming...also a better display (320ppi>>>190ppi)....also better styling...
Mega 5.8 has better camera and more integrated softwares like air gestures...
Note: xperia.sp is the fastest dual core phone yet and has the flagship gpu at that price tag

Low resolution, broadcom cheapset, and 1.5 GB ram are sure a turndown.Otherwise android and Samsung are excellent
