Hi, ive brought the samsung mega 6.3 on oct 30. After a weeks use, the phone would automatically shut off. When I close the flip cover and put the phone to sleep, it would just turn off. It will not start with the power button. I will need to pull out the battery or put the charger and start it. The battery was almost full. Still it would switch off. Could be a battery, app or hardware issue. I did a factory reset and it still has the same problem.
Ive now given it back to the service center for repairs. WIll get it in 3 days. Did anyone else experience the same problem. Please let me know...

I had this phone for 4 months. Very enjoyable and loved video on it... however, it had some serious lag/stutter issues. I went ahead and chucked down $700 for the Galaxy Note 3... and it felt really small after using this phone. The big boys are here to stay!! Multi-window is what makes me keep getting Sammy's phones though the build quality is crap.

This phone is great. It has radio (gsmarena wrong), faster than note 2 and great audio. Screen is big. Altouhgt just hd screen but its sharp and almost no difference if u see on normal distance

Closing apps 3-4 times a day by pressing Home buton and clearing RAM at Home button too.
Play store is not allowed to auto update apps. Unnecessary 24 system apps disabled.
Advanced Task Manager installed. Auto kill frequency set to 30 minutes. Almost 700 MB RAM remains always available.

Wifi ( only one when needed, but sometimes forget to turn it off and seems okay ), sound thing, screen rotation ( when needed but usually on ), & mobile data.others if need be.

At least a full day. Do you clear your ram amd boost your memory? Perhaps " cleanmaster " a free app might help. One touch clearing widgets and can go into it to see everything and boost memory etc. Im a student and use mine all the time for everything and never worry about my battery. Give it a go if you havent already. I also dont have many of the extras on such as smartstay, airveiw, sync NFC etc. That might help too.
