Here's more: Samsung officially announced low-end Galaxy Pocket Neo. QVGA screen, 850 MHz single-core, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM, 4.1 Jelly Bean. FOUR POINT ONE JELLY BEAN.

Just please tell me why would Galaxy Chat, which differs from Mini 2 only in 50 MHz faster CPU, receive Jelly Bean without any compatibility issues? It has same RAM/ROM, with inferior screen and camera. It would be most illogical to assume Jelly Bean can't be developed for Mini 2, when its chipset is fully supported by it. By the way, Samsung's official tech support was known to give false information from time to time. Finally, if that information was true, SamMobile would announce it on Twitter days ago. And if a mere student can develop a fully working CyanogenMod ROM for Mini 2, there is absolutely NO WAY Samsung couldn't do the same thing officially.

I received the response from TheWhisp, the man who develops CyanogenMod 10 for Galaxy Mini 2. Besides him (and other developers), SamMobile also confirms Jelly Bean for our phone. This is my last post on this website, and you can all drown in this Anonymous' ignorance. For the last time: THERE ARE NO INCOMPATIBILITIES WITH MSM7227A AND JELLY BEAN. Good luck and see you on 4.1...
