AnonD-108812, 16 Mar 2013and why that?Because samsung have other low end devices to be manufactured such as galaxy fame and new galaxy young. There is no manufacturer continuously produce their old devices. But it doesn't mean they aren't improve the sofware of their old (discontinued) product.

Great phone!
Have had it for a few months, completely satisfied.
PROS: Looks great
Very tough (I have it in the cheapest case available- I have dropped it any way possible,including from a bicycle moving at full speed- not a scratch)
Enough internal memory for your music and pictures without having to buy an SD card
All the coolness that comes with an Android phone
CONS: Its RAM and GPU will not allow you to play the most demanding video games, and that s a real bummer if you have no life
Forget about night time pictures. In fact, forget about evening pictures as well. Its lack of flash and its lack of efficient low light effects, makes it pointless to take a picture in anything less than mid day in Mexico. For me, thats the biggest drawback.
It can become slow at times. You ll have to run the Task Manager and press "terminate unwanted processes".

JB work smooth even on galaxy mini 1, on galaxy mini 2 so far created custom room run as smooth as it can, no worries about that. JB also improves battery life almost half time, and it will work as long as for example note.

The fact that you can run these amount of apps and conveniant graphics games with this price makes this phone absolutely good value for money.
I heard that it can run gta and most wanted, but i didn't test any of them yet, as i told i got it just 2 days ago.
And as i came from symbian, this is very good to me.
But to be honest, I think symbian is smarter and more logical in the ui.
For example: i can use bt and radio in flight mode after a decent warning, in mini you can't at all. This just an example.
All in all I think mini is agood phone and deserves the money i paid, and i am sure it will get even better after JB update.

Jellybean update tomorrow is a lie! Even samsung didn't say about jellybean start testing on galaxy mini 2! How can you come up with such conclusion about the release date tomorrow march 13, 2013! Don't give us sgm2 user's such fake information like that pls.. Be responsible!
