whn ever i connect to internet the google maps starts to download info.....its cost much in our country,....how can i use internet(opera/fb, by not downloading google maps stuff???

calldyke, 01 Aug 2011whats gingerbread? Are you interested in this phone? Coz if you are, then you *SHOULD* know this. The operating system for the Galaxy Mini S5570 is Android (the operating system - if you don't know, you kinda don't deserve the phone) v2.2 which is codenamed Froyo and Gingerbread is next version up. Android 2.3. Tada, now you know!

This custom ROM based on Gingerbread 2.3.2 but with added feature Honeycomb 3.0. What do think about this firmware? Darky's ROM looks nice to me..

Battery life pathetic. More so when you do even a little bit of gaming. Other than that it offers great value for money. When you remove the rear cover you will notice how tiny the battery really is in comparison to the phone. Could Samsung have accommodated a larger unit to give more juice?

AnonD-11692, 31 Jul 2011thankx. btw which is the best backup tool? rom manager bric... moreI've never do backup before but my friend always done it by using Nandroid to backup his android for ease system restore in case of something went wrong to the phone. I can't tell you how to do backup process but you can refer to this website:

Other apps like Titanium or Mybackup Root/Pro also can perform as a backup tools. I'm really no idea about these apps like i mentioned earlier, i've got no intention about backing-up my android. The ironic is i always hoping my rooted phone run as well as brand new condition :-).
There are no spesific apps should not be given or permission that depends on user himself. Superuser permission has a privilledge to act as administrator but only user can choose certain apps to obtain root access. However you could end by bricking up your phone cause by apps crash or incompatibility, so be careful when handling apps in Superuser mode.
