I got samsung galaxy mini yesterday. I had x10 mini and several Nokia symbian phones before. If you're up to use your phone for internet usage and multimedia Samsung mini may suited choice. In my opinion it's better than Sony Ericsson x10 mini in term of experience. X10 only excel in camera.
                        Pros:
                        -good built quality
                        -responsive touch
-good music sound quality with good pair of headphones
-good call quality, better than Nokia e63
                        -choices for text input
                        -smart dialling
                        -relatively affordable
                        Cons:
-no notifications light for incoming messages or missed calls

Those above are significant pros and cons i experience compare to previous phones i had. Generally i recommend this phone to those who are looking for affordable android phone.

The phone is good. But. I should comment in terms of battery life. When you are playing games or using internet, the battery just take 10 hours. Even i'm using juice defender. Hate it.

These apps will do most any restricted changes to your android system like tweaks setting, override system like tuning CPU clock or accessing file system. It is safe to experiment these tools with precaution - that's why we had to ROOT ANDROID so we can make any changes to the whole system.

a2sdgui - Same as Apps2SD which manage/move apps from internal memory to SD card (SD Ext partition). Beware of moving your apps might be failed for some programs.

Superuser - Manage apps to access protected areas on android system. It has quick boot and ROM manager for backups and recovery image. This utility are important to access permission for a future updates.

Root Explorer - Same like File Manager but has priority to access protected file system. Root Explorer can access system folder, database viewer, text editor, search, mount, archives, permissions or etc.

AnonD-11692, 30 Jul 2011hey yea fakrul i noticed the difference...it's great n also... moreYes, my CyanogenMod 7 (ROM & Kernel) by Tj_Style but i don't think is a good idea moving to CM7 since you're already on GingerBread 2.3.4 (default ROM). First of all to flashing CM7 from SD card you've to rooted your phone as it required a permission to perform updating. I must say rooting your phone are absolutely void your phone warranty. Even though you're follow the procedure with proper step by step instruction but the risk of bricking your phone is unavoidable in case of somethings wrong happened. However if you insist to do that, you can find Galaxy Mini ROMs download links from XDA forum as below (Gingerbread 2.3.3/2.3.4 to Cyanogenmod 7.1.0):

                                      http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107331

Again i'm telling you it's not recommend to flashing your android with custom firmware that require a good reason and support to do so. CM7 flash ROM are not really 100% good working as it has a few bugs issue that still on testing purpose such as WiFi MAC Address and iP related problem. I've only done with CM7 because i need to experiment android phone (with insured coverage by my friend mobile store) to adjusting cpu ARMV6 600Mhz up to 800Mhz (overclocked). I do also testing a GPS Tracking Location, USB tethering and VOIP/SIP internet calling over 3g network (same like SIPgate from Google). Not to mention installing a few apps like SPB Shell 3D Home launcher. Still all my testing works fine unless the flaws came from others device that need to be initialized thoroughly.
