ive been using this phone i lyk everything except THE SCREEN!! the low res screen is really bad so if u care about good image quality look elsewhere but if its features u want galaxy mini is the way 2 go.

Should I go for the Galaxy pro or the Mini? The Mini is inferior hardware wise, but i believe has been assured of Android 2.3, so is it worth it?

I know i have to read a lot before rooting n every step shud be followed exactly. it will be useful if u(already rooted users) post some link for a step by step guide to rooting this phone(that works,wen done correctly). Or u cud just give the steps urself....???

guys am currently using his phone. is great and everything but while typing a txt message i without my own knowledge enterd into swype mode. and i dont like to type them with lines appeaaring on my keypad. please some onehelp me on how to change back to the normal keypad. hank you in advance.

TANVIR, 14 Jul 2011Mr.Fakrul, i read some of ur opinion abt GALAXY MINI s5570.... moreI owned Samsung Galaxy S i9000 and Galaxy Mini S5570 about 6 month ago and since then i'm quiet happy on both device which got every features i needed.
Galaxy S are the perfect smartphone i ever had (no more Nokia and SE..) and i always show off to iPhone user on what Galaxy S can do especially it has 1ghz Cortex8 Cpu with PowerVR SGX 540 while latest iphone 4 only has Gpu PowerVR SGX535. Galaxy S are most succesful android phone by Samsung and still the top choice by the consumers. I've no complaint about this phone except the higher price even this model is already sold 1 year in the market.
Galaxy Mini also still the best among android OS phone these day. But you should consider to Galaxy Gio and Galaxy Ace because it has better screen resolution at 320x480 (HVGA) while Galaxy Mini only has 240x320 (QVGA). Low screen resolution means poor capability of display viewing especially you'll notice a distorted font and unsharped images. If you're at mobile phone shop, try to compare Galaxy mini with other hi-res screen model and see what the different.
I can't tell what the best phone for you but please do survey first the specification like the display res, 3g, wifi, gps, Camera Mp (autofocus), or etc. There are other brand at same range you can choose like SE Xperia X8 and X10 Mini or LG Optimus One and Optimus Me. However if you're stick with brand Samsung then i'll recommend you to buy Samsung galaxy Ace.

Mr.Fakrul, i read some of ur opinion abt GALAXY MINI s5570.U already use this phone.I m confused that should i buy this phone or not.So can u plz tell me wht are the advantages & disadvantages of this phone? some people complained that resolution is poor (256k color,240*320)so wht is ur comments & suggestion abt that?

Do we have to pay even for the Document Viewer? The
manual of this handset says that we have to pay only

bims, 13 Jul 2011hi fakrul, sory for not completing my prob....my prob are l... moreActually you can write a text message as long as possible but since there's a limitation sms MAP or SS7 protocol, every text message normally 145 character (8 Bits GSM Alphabet) per page while 60 Character for 16 Bits Unicode (UTF-16). If your text exceed the 145 character it'll jump to page 2 which mean you'll be charged from Telco as 2 sms for a single long text sms. Please check your 'Message setting' at menu 'Input Mode' and the option as GSM Alphabet or Automatic.
For MMS its unlimited writing depends on the Kilobyte per message by Telco (50Kb-300Kb) including all multimedia content such as Picture (jpeg), audio and video (3gp).
