i just bought this phone 5 days back it rocks.. it is so fast got to say its my first android and i love it apps run extremely smooth games rock but im a bit worried of the battery life .... now i have downloaded advanced app killer it kills all runing apps and i have disabled many things which helps me keep my battery ...... im using 2g for now gps is cool ................. i bought this in bangalore in mathikere for 9200 inclusive of taxes under an offer were i was replaced with a 4gb card instead of 2gb inbox card

yup my frxt android phne and certainly was a gud experience. android and samsung got my loyalty on ds 1. nxt phne i am already ready to shed cash on their top line galaxi phnes

How can i off / disable the data connection on this phone so that i only use WIFI to connect to internet. i found out that every time when there's no WIFI connection, it automatically connect to data connection which is eating a lot on my prepaid charges..help please

deden, 27 Apr 2011some people say, it's hard to install the app to SDCard. i never had a problem with it. It just automatically installs to the sd card.

fatin, 26 Apr 2011though u have froyo but u will not able to install everythi... moreWell Fatin, No need to be worry about the internal memory issue and Moving the Apps from the Phone memory to SD Card. the solution is So simple : Just Root the Device (Root means Unlock the Original Android Rom) so that you can easily move the Apps from Phone to SD Card.

Here's how u can use your own audio files for message tones:
-Go to Menu and select My files
-press options button and select more
-select settings and tick "Show hidden files" and "Show file extensions"
-you will now be able to view all files from ur SD card and Phone memory card, now depending on how you got the audio file thats where you selsct the desired folder press options button then selec Move and then move the selected file to folder "notifications" under folder "audio" and then you'll be able to get the desired audio file from your message tone selection
(For example, i got my audio file using bluetooth, so i went to bluetooth folder and moved the file to notifications under audio folder)

Battery thought might not last that long enough but you'll just need to make sure to kill/close all running applications running in the background. put your brightness settings to automatic so it can adopt/respond to your current lighting. Charge your phone in full cycle, not every now and then. I had issues with battery as well but was able to optimise the use of it by closing applications properly.
