I have a really disturbing feeling that GSIII will be a disappointment. I'm really unsure how to proceed. I don't think Samsung will release a device as neat as Nexus because of the touch wiz interface which isn't a personal favorite. I really am hyped about the Nexus and I would really love to have a go at it!

2-CM9 its good enough? big question improve battery?

Samsung wants to cut expenses so sell a top model phone with a small batery...and sell it apart.
Google should launch this phone with more processor and a better battery to show that they think on costumers, but doesn't and worst is sell a top model without a lot os dictionaries...i guess just five...and doesn't install more...

    Just using costum roms...

So anyone could help me to install CM9 and more one thing, after install that rom ita possible, if google launch an update, install it?

    thanks

I bought it mostly because of the vanilla ICS and the HD screen. I have seen and used the Sensation XL too. It's a very neat device. I think that you shouldn't bother upgrading to the Nexus as you can always root and install a custom ROM which will give you the look and feel of vanilla ICS, say CM9. And for the screen, there really isn't much that you can do. But if it is mandatory that you get a new device soon, wait for the Galaxy S III.

This mobile seems like it is straight out of Samsung's spare parts electronics bin.
I have a SII and while great, it is not brilliant.
But all credit to Samsung to cover all marketing slots, but I am concerned with where quality is going.

I've had the Nexus for 2 weeks now and find it to be a great device. Got the S II for my wife and it's great too. If you're in love with the iPhone and that's the phone for you, get that one and save yourself the trouble of comparisons. I don't understand why people who are sold on something continue to compare everything to it. I could barely read any objective comments or reports from consumers on any phone without iPhone owners doing their thing...praising thier phone and putting down any other phone. I can honestly say that I did my homework before puchasing the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I'm very happy with it. One thing I found out to be sure is that the iPhone isn't the standard by which all others should be measured, not even close.

                        Hello

I currently own a Sensation XL. I would like to upgrade to an Ice Cream Sandwich device but I'm afraid to lose all of the Sense goodies. On the other hand I don't like the fact that htc has a very laggy interface(pulling down the notification bar, switching between homescreens etc). The Sensation XL is planned for an ICS upgrade but I really dislike the looks of the icons and fonts htc used for Sense. I love how the vanilla ICS looks, i love the fact google has implemented buttons within the screen. I like the HD screen and various other aspect related things the Nexus has. So on one hand I like how the Nexus looks, performs and the fact that it will always receive updates but I am worried I will lose facebook integration, smartdialing and other Sense goodies htc has covered.

TELL ME WHAT TO DO I'M VERY CONFUSED!

                              Hi!
i have one galaxy nexus and what i see in android is that if you to some thins in the phone it starts slowing!
i don't know why but after a while using it i start to get tiered...a lots of apps but the phone or all android phones can't handle well with it. Android starts being boring...
And why can't they launch a top phone whitout a dictionary in PT? Simple thing...etc etc....and they launch with a small battery and then have to sold a big battery...
And a Samsung with gorilla glass would be great...
                              Good phone but not satisfied....

A 5mp camera and NO memory card slot!?!?! Both of these are found on low quality phones, they could have done better. Upped to an 8mp camera with dual led flash, a 3mp FRONT camera and a memory card slot.
HTC is still the way to go!

If 130gm is BULKY for you, its time you stop rubbing your "private parts" every now and than. if its all black for you than how come you see the pixels? Pure android experience is what drives nexus sales.if its bland than why bothered to buy? i believe you never bought and used it, just picked up a display piece for moments and posting your expert comments here.

Its Odd you dont appreciate, the design, super amoled HD screen, clean android OS!What you call BLUE is at a very awkward viewing angle native to LED screens else whites are more white due to infinite contrast normally view!

Yes, even with the curved screen, it's STILL thinner. You must be a midget you think this phone is bulky. My wallet is bulky, this isn't.

Out of curiousity, what angle do you see these "black spots" (assuming 90° is looking straight at the screen as you would normally.) I have a Nexus One - an older generation AMOLED screen, and I can't see what you're talking about.
