I have the Nexus for a week now, and yes the battery has been very poor. Keep on reading as it gets better. Recently I started to use the iPad charger with my Nexus, and now I am at the end of the day and I have 85% still left from the battery after normal use. Couple of calls, few emails, some texts and bluetooth music player. I must say that now I am delighted with my battery life, so you should consider getting a proper charger before anything else.

yeah.. android phones really has a poor battery life.. since it is LTE(longterm evolution) phone.. and top it off galaxy nexus has the most upto date android.. to solve battery problems.. you can download battery booster application.. it can help you with it.. C:

Would you say the battery life on the htc sensation is better? I'm trying to decide between the two phones. The galaxy nexus might be a bit better in terms of specs, but if the sensation has better battery life I'll go with the sensation. Awaiting your reply or anybody that has info. Thanks

there is a problem with ur battery mines stays whole day long at least 30 to 40% remaining after normal use with playing games too, standby after charging 100% unplugged at night 9pm in day 7am its shows 95 or 97%,I have played games for more than 3.5hrs

dont worry google will lunch an update very soon to fix all bugs. its 4.0.5 ^__^ i really like this phone.

Hi I bought a galaxy nexus about roughly one month ago, truth is the battery life is garbage, I leave it to charge all night and then it only lasts till max 4 or 5 pm, and the even worse part is that it drains more battery on standby than when used. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Updated to 4.0.2.Before that,at 4.0.1 my galaxy nexus was random rebooting,and now is ok,but doesn't feel that smooth in some games...

Battery life is awful and nothing more functional about ICS; only a little more shiny. Can get better phones for same price

Anyone updated to 4.02 version? my phone sometime get rebooted when using after the update. anyone knows why?

Disappointing phone, it looks great but after a couple of month you realise that it was built quickly with cheap stuff - look at the backside. Screen is fine, battery life is miserable - last one day maximum with moderate usage, has a hard time to keep the network , not stable. Galaxy II is much better built and more stable on the network

Its an outstanding cell phone ... i was using galaxy S2 also used S1 and iphone 4 ... now em using galaxy nexus its way more funtional and great cell phone .... !!! Specially ICS is amazing !!!

beginner, 31 Jan 2012guys which is better nexus or s2...i am planing to buy one ... moreIve used both but currently.nexus. hard call coz s2 is neater in the hand but the nexus has soooo many possibilies with its more laptop like functions. Awesoms

beginner, 31 Jan 2012guys which is better nexus or s2...i am planing to buy one ... morei used s2. s2 is better, in terms of camera n video playback. s2 also has card slot, this one no. for other specs, it's basically the same, even the processor speed n ram.
nexus only has little bit better display than s2, that's all. so, go for s2, the one w/ perfectness.
