I'm writing from my galaxy nexus. I had iPhone 4 than Samsung galaxy s2, now I bought galaxy nexus. Is far better than all phones that I had. Most of comments are written by people who don't own this phone. Very fast indeed, with this android is different experience

The specification say that the phone is compatible on 3G and LTE networks as well. I think these are 2 separate phones. The 'Verizon version' is the one that supports the LTE version and the 'European version' is the one that supports 3G and HSPA+.

AnonD-3346, 16 Dec 2011My Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (Rogers enhanced edition) is far... moreyes, the SII is a great phone, fantastic even, and I doubted about it for a while (changeable SD-card e.g.) but it won't have vanilla ICS... that was the dealbreaker for me. And the screen of nexus appears to be better as well (though slightly)

Have the phone two days now, and it is really mindblowing. Speed, speed, speed, ICS lets multitasking be oh so easy, scroll through opened apps pr swipe away. Pictures are very good, also ultra rapid shutter, when you think of clicking the picture's almost already taken. Screen is big, bright and very sharp, detailed.
For the comparers : yes, the SII has 8MP cam, changeable SD-card and will get ICS soon. I hesitated for a while, but wanted the vanilla Google experience (after owning the Nexus One for 1.5yr). And it is awesome!

Checked it out today. It's too big! When does a phone become a tablet/small PC. I reckon 4 inches is the sweet spot for display size. Anything bigger becomes cumbersome. If the Motorola Atrix had better specs and less buggy software, it would be spot-on.

It is special because it is a nexus phone which is a very vannila experience and promotes the new android version release. This time 4.0 (ice cream sandwich)

LTE is the 4th Generation network.
The reason why it says region specific because the LTE mode or the 4g network cant be used everywhere (as in here in india we just got 3g network so here we cant use the galaxy nexus in LTE mode) hence it says region specific the LTE mode or the 4g network mode works in USA and as far as i know it should work in few of the european countries... if i am wrong someone please correct me.. i would like to be corrected if i am wrong....and no sarcasm plz..

I am pla... morei think neither of them is much better than s2, so if i were you i would stay with s2. however if money isnt a problem for you i would choose the nexus, cause it has the best screen period, and it will get the updates first (but dont forget it doesnt have gorilla glass. they say it have some "fortified glass" however)
