chiggy, 15 Dec 2011can someone tell my why this phone shows "LTE 700 (reg... moreYes, LTE is only on Verizon version. However, as this is a global site, they refer to US as a region, which it clearly is, and not the center of the universe, as some like to believe.

Think of it this way - if you were to read about some phone that only has LTE on one specific Japanese carrier, then "region specific" would suddenly make more sense, no? :)

My Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (Rogers enhanced edition) is far better. Its specs are basically a Galaxy II S LTE HD. Dual 1.5GHZ, 1850 mAh battery, 4.5" screen, 1GB ram, 8MP rear w/flash, 2MP front, GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA+/HSUPA/and Dual band LTE (700mhz and AWS1700 for early North American adopters). EVERYTHING on my phone is better, except the .15" less screen size (Big deal) and the Android 2.3 vs. 3. But I'm sure an upgrade will be released to deal with this.

The problem with the Galaxy S II is SOOOO many editions have been launched all with different specs based on the providers. My phone is more or less the exact same thing as a Galaxy S II LTE HD but with extra radio bands and 0.15" less of screen (big deal, were already at 4.5", c'mon).

This phone is just hype because of the Nexus name. Get the Rogers LTE Galaxy S II if your in Canada, or the LTE GALAXY S II HD if your international. I think the US has something similar to the Rogers edition.

Just my two cents, thanks for listening.

I have been using this phone for the past 2 weeks, having owned 3 HTC phones I have to admit the user interface of the Galaxy Nexus is not as good compared to the HTC, interm of texting, pre-setting functions and certain controls, also the battery life is crap, when fully chaged 80% battery goes with watching a movie which lasted no longer then 40 minutes, whereas HTC Desire S can last a lot longer. The upset to this phone is the large quality clear screen, I love watching movie on this phone, is it crystal clear specially when you are watching fast moving action film without any issue, also it is great with your are surfing the internet, the speed is very quick and the large screen really help and make it more userfriendly. There are a lot of people have been complaining about the size of this phone, to be honest I think is it pretty good size, I am only 5ft 8 inc pretty average size guy, I have not issue using this phone, it is a great mobile smart phone very light for the size of it and the quality of the screen is excellent. the only down side it the user interface and the battery life.

Guys, no joke, I cant explain it. This is THE phone. All my gs2 friends whi have handled an used this phone agree with me. Its a better experience, its just feels superior. The camera soecs is lower yes, but no GS2 owner who gets a test of this treasure will pass up on the oppurtunity to trade. THIS IS THE BEST MOBILE PHONE TODAY PERIOD. It goes bryond yhe spec sheet. Shame on all the reviewers that nearly made me doubt my insticts to get this unique mobile. I am finally satisfied.

nothing beats siri. Ok so this phone has alot of potential to sell well but there are still things the iphone has and does better. this is definatly the better android phone i have seen but hey its almost classed as a tablet because of the size lol. once its in your hand it doesnt feel too big but it makes my iphone look tiny haha. really nice display but the UI will still not compair to the iphone and that is the most important part of a touch screen phone the rest is just a bonus in reality...
