If there's one thing the Nexus line always delivers on, no matter who makes it, is cheap looking. The back of this thing looks both cheap & dated. I can appreciate a masculine-looking phone, but does it have to look so dated & cheap... every time.

Besides a bigger screen with better pixel density and Android OS 4.0, why should I choose this phone over the Galaxy II (better cameras, and the same specs)

......Samsung handsets are always ahead in specifications.
.........While Nokia phones are much ahead in qualities.
........Iphone handsets are the most stable among all.

I have owned Nexus one since 12-2009 and love it. Have to say that I was waiting patiently for the new Nexus, however have been completely uninspired by the Nexus S and now the Nexus Prime. Samsung has done nothing to the hardware design of the prime that makes you want to own this phone. Still plastic material, same doll and old SGS2 (Galaxy S2) design. And talk about the battery at 1,750 !!! How disappointing.

I hated those old motos, so did everyone else, its the reason why moto disappeared from the market, for a long time moto was more rare than chicken teeth, and still is in europe. Milestone was ok, but not great, could not compete with N900. Lets see what google can do but i kniow them, they need advertising billboards, not cellfones. Its gonna be more pushy than ever.

316 ppi only? so iphone still the higest ppi with retina disply, i think samsung going to increase the ppi on the next gs3.

You will see that Samsung will be the first with a better CPU and Ram. Samsung will be the first with a 12 MP camera with Android 4. Motorola is good at making slim devices. I admit that! You said that I was a HTC fan as well. I said that I am a Samsung AND HTC fan!! This means that in the second place is HTC. I also said that I like Motorola too. Maybe that I will buy the Defy one day, because it's waterproof, and it looks cool. You say that the Droid X was one of the best devices?? In my country it was NOT even launched!! IN my country I can't find even the Atrix phone. I can buy only the Defy. In my country Samsung, HTC and LG are the popular phones. You will see how Samsung will grow soon. They are in the second place, and Motorola is UNABLE to take the crown from Sammy, the BIGGEST Android phone maker in the WORLD. :) I am proud of Samsung. They has some unique features as well, not just Moto. The Voice Translator is a feature I have seen only in the GS2(well, I kept today a Sg2 in my hands, and it lacks it, because of my country I suppose, but in other countries it has that feature, just see the review). Samsung makes many smart phones for different needs. Motorola makes almost only black phones! :P The white GS2 looks great!

i think that the fact that there is no ext SDcard is a really big downer!
since i would rather have 1gig of internal but with the option of ext SD
then almost infinite of internal and no ext SD
as for the camera: i know its going to be taking good pictures with the 5MP but i would rather have it do 8
i also think that the lack of menu and search keys are an extreamly stupid move by Google

It is have the same internal hardware of SII with less camera, why not just make spicial edition of S II

ypu know i had all the iphones and they rock i mean iphone 4 has a better camera than the n8 and there's a difference of 7 megapixel this phone looks cool i might lkeave appe for samsung the camera doesnt matter try putting a n8 vs an iphone 4 in camera and video mode and you'll seee which is better so this phone has incredible things the resolution how thin is i mean come on why the camera wait till is available to buy and see if the 5 mp camera is bad because if they put that camera must be for something lol!
