Now that Nexus Prime's specs are a disappointment, whats the next best phone to look forward to? The Moto Droid RAZR sounds like another normal Droid phone.. anything outstanding?

Notice : I believe that no 1 needs a cam in a mobile !..
also having 5MP doesn't mean it's BAD !.. it may be better than a 8MP.. trust me

if you play the best games in the world buy an Alienware or if you shoot the most beautiful girls in the world buy a Nikon :) I have SGS2 and is to much for a smart phone.

Love its curve body n design... Nexus gave a new shape to the smartphones first in nexus s n nw in thz one... Its totally awesum... Abt the phone well evrythn z perfect n i luv its resolution n 1080p full hd recording... Ppl buzzin abt its 5mp cam n sayin why not 8mp.. Well 5mp z also a better one coz its a full hd cam thus whatever u click n record will giv u an overall hd performance... 1.2ghz processor is also good.. Imagine a phone packed in 8mm cell with a 2ghz dual core or quad core may get fire due to overheating n u need fans to cool that up... Thz z a total customer satisfying masterpiece n above all m very much eager to have an icecream sandwich experience....

Guys please understand that the Nexus series are NOT for the very high-end section. The Galaxy series are for that. The Nexus is the series which has the LATEST Android version. Just see the previous Nexus phone. It was the FIRST to run the Gingerbread. :> Samsung is the first again to run the Ice Cream Sandwich, with the Galaxy Nexus. The GS3 will be the phone which will be much better than this. The same happened after the Nexus S was announced. The SG2 is much better than the Nexus S.

Why does people keep on saying that a better camera is one with more megapixels? it's just size. But as long as you print them in the same size (i.e. to place the photo in a portrait on a table) then 5 megapixels is far more than enough. But does anybody complains if the camera does not have a good color interpretation or too much electric noise??

i actually like it, something like this could be my first ever Samsung, if there will be a MeeGo version of it that is, Android has been nothing but trouble and so lacking in multitasking, with hardware like this it deserves a powerful OS.
Anyway, im sure this also has AMOLED problems, like Galaxy S and S2 all have. Colors will be too inacurate. Hope Samsung takes color reproduction seriously soon, right now its what puts them a mile behind sonyericsson and HTC.
PS, MeeGo on this fone is not just a dream, Samsung is already shipping MeeGo products, they beat Nokia to the market. Not fones but meego netbooks, already available in stores in southeast asia

Yep this is the one for me :)
But i'm a little disappointed with SOC they used. I was expecting a Samsung Soc running above 1.2Ghz, but they putted a Texas Instruments OMAP 4 series instead... The OMAP SOC is great but running at the same speed as the SOC of Galaxy S2 will it be more powerful?
Still the rest of the specs are great. Just waiting to see the price.

why are people so dumb? why do you need more than 5MP on a phone more? do you know what 5mp even means...unless you are printing crazy huge pictures or poster size then u need the MP but if you are just storing, viewing or even printing at 4x6 then why are you complaining about mega pixels.. STOP YOUR NONSENSE. its all about what processor and lens on the camera to make a truely outstanding quality picture. DUMB PEOPLE.. i only can laugh. ez

Hmm its just as I thought.Samsung always keeps something missing in the Nexus lineup so that they can put it in the galaxy line up,so that their own franchise can become more popular(Eg: No HD recording in the Nexus S even though it perfectly capable).I am pretty sure we will be seeing an 8 or 12mp camera and a 1.5-1.8Ghz dual or a quad core Exynos chipset processor in the Galaxy S III.So my point is why do they take the Nexus franchise form google in the first place if they have no intention of making it their top phone.Guess I'll have to wait for their Galaxy S III.
