Using this phone for 4years+. Still okay. But really hate his battery life, temperature and laggy. I format it when really really laggy and act like new phone.

My galaxy nexus phone is giving me problem, it is a brand new phone and whenever am using it online or offline the phone temperature increases in such a way that i cant even able to handle it with my hands cause of the hotness of the phone. Can anyone advice me what to do? I have changed more than three brand new batteries yet it the same problem.

You can Google "How to install a custom ROM Samsung Galaxy Nexus" or "How to install a custom ROM Android" for good results.

I have a Galaxy Nexus 19250 and I'm very happy with it, but I don't seem able to download the pictures I take into my computer. Do I need a special cable to do this? Will I find such a cable in an electronics shop?

my mob... moretake out the battery and rub the terminals of the battery with a rough material. then insert it back hope your issue will get resolve.

Also mind that the phone is 4 years old. It probably should have gotten 4.4.2 KitKat but unfortunately that did not happen.
You can xda the hell out of your GN btw
