my phone(yakjuxw version) automatically updated itself to jelly bean 4.1.1!. and i have to say, it is much smoother. to those of u who still haven't gotten the update, i would say that it was worth the wait. cuz people have updated manually and they have experienced a few problems. my phone, on the other hand, is working fine.

awsome phone. realy too good. & touch feel is too good. also wifi speed is too good. & camera clerity dnt need any explation. really Awsome.

And those complaining about battery life please read things on xda, with the right combination i am getting 2days of standby on 3g with 3 hours screen time and 3 hours of calling, i dont think anyone would want more than that and even if you do, buy an extended battery guys, its not an iphone!! you can change the battery to a higher one!! WOW!!! AMAZING isnt it? its only rogue apps which drain the battery and not the rom or kernel...

been using this since couple of weeks, bought from Alfa Mumbai, i think whatever negative i hear in the comments is true but to a large extend curable. I am on CNA 3.5 custom JB rom, plus franco nightly 268.. trust me guys you will experience what actually Jelly Bean can do with this phone. Its like much much smoother than the 4s my wife has and i am sure its faster and smoother than the S3 as well. Yes it takes some pain to read thru and install all this if you are not used to flashing, but trust me its worth it. you wont go to any other phone once you are used to such super smoothness...

pls Dont buy this the bigest disadvantage was the worrenty isue .it not resolve in india .even no care is take risk to service this phone ..

Hi Guys,
I have been a Symbian, Windows, Blackberry, iPhone & Galaxy S2 user in the past. Have tried Galaxy S3 also for a week. I have never been satisfied in my life with the user experience ever, than on this device.
I accept that there are other phones with better specs like S3 & better build quality/timely upgrades like iPhone out there, but this is something else.
This is the best user experience. The smoothness, the responsiveness, the best use of software buttons without the unresponsive hardware buttons, the reasonable price ..etc makes it better phone than any one else out there. This is "Pure Android User Experience" as Google intended.
I have two complaints :-
1) The "Galaxy" name on the Nexus.
2) Samsung bastardizing new Galaxy Nexus sales by adding their own firmware, rather than the original "yakju firmware" which makes Nexus owners wait till Samsung provide an update. (Thank GOD it is a Nexus and users can easily flash the new software images which are can be directly downloaded from Google).
Make the logical choice !!!

Battery life is seriously bad, dude.. this phone cant last even a day. Other than that, no complaints. NOT recommended.

Smart phones eats up when you dont use interner package. Purchase a package from your mobile operator and enjoy yourself.

It's a kinda good phone.
It's got sufficient power for almost every task but its specs are not extremely good.
There are some things that, in my opinion, destroy the whole experience:
- The screen is just an absolute nightmare! The black navbar on the bottom starts burning in after some months of usage and looking at a white page is like having a look at at wall paper (not background-image, I mean the real ones. The screen got an extreme pattern, mostly if the screen is set to a dark setting)
- The whole phone feels a bit cheap. It's really made completely out of plastic.
- The camera is medium. It's not that bad but it's not good either.
- Battery life could be better too. I got to recharge it in the morning and at noon again to get through the day. Kinda annoying but I found this issue with many phones.
