which battery last longer? this or the iphone 4s? will the battery last a full day with moderate use?, and also does this phone heats up like the gs2?

I'm planning to buy this from the US PlayStore and use it in India.
It says "Unlocked and contract free: This Galaxy Nexus is an unlocked GSM phone that will operate on more than 200 GSM providers worldwide, including AT&T and T-Mobile in the US."
Will it work on Vodafone India without any problems??
I have to be sure on this.
