was a Note and Samsung fan for many years and always had Notes until model 10,
extremely superugly camera hump, shitty Exynos in my area, very bad battery life (for example S20Ultra with even bigger battery, it's about time the EU requires replaceable batteries), completely useless edge display especially for a Phabelt it's a waste of screen space, i don't know what the Samsung strategists think about, but probably nothing except the massively inflated price, i don't need a 5mm thin shitty gamer device that can't be used after 6 hours because the battery gives up!!!

Apparently the exynos chipset can't run 120 hz at qhd witch the sd can do 120 hz at qhd
So samsung disable this on their phone because the exynos only could do it at full HD

Funny asking from 1250 higher for a phone worth up to 400 bucks price to make one.
600 maybe 700 or up to 800 thus the twice the manufacturing price would be decent 1250 is plain robbery on a customer.

Samsung are going to find themselves in the same position as Intel if they don't stop with the anti-consumer practices and CPU Bait & Switch. Samsung need to get back to making great products instead of just jacking up prices.
1) Next year Samsung will be competing with Xiaomi for the high end.
All my family and friends have been switching to Xiaomi mid range phones. Xiaomi offer reasonable specs at a reasonable price point.
2) Samsung are no longer the high end smart phone, NVME or even SSD king. Samsung have fallen behind in every area that they were once the best.

The 990 was/is behind the SD865 not only in terms of performance, but also in terms of power management, battery consumption and heat.
There are areas where the 990 was up to 20% down on the SD865, and now make matters worse, they put the SD865+ on the US Note 20 while keeping the shitty 990 for the European market, making the difference even bigger between them.
