And I was thinking of... moreAbsolutely, do not waste ur money, I have been samsung fan and used 2 s series phones and 4 note series phones, with Note 20 ultra, I lost all trust on Samsung, I even spent INR 2540 for battery replacement and no use after that too. it is just 2yr old phone bought for ~90K INR (with bank offers etc)

I did everything thinking it is my device issue. replaced with new battery in samsung authorised service center, still drain is same. did factory reset and checked for a day, no improvement... flashed back to Android 12, same issue, removed work profile and u name it, i tried. looks like this is some sort of planned obsolescence. Spending so much money and experiencing these kind of things, I am thinking to go away from samsung forever. Stuck with watch 5 pro, or else my decision would have been lot better

Hy. My phone is still on android 10. Camera is pretty crap. Was great before android 10. After the last update any improvement? Thank you.

My note keep dimming for few seconds and then brightness comes up. I don't have adaptive brightness enabled. Is this normal?

So even S22 series have this problem? And I was thinking of picking up S22 Ultra or wait for S23 series to release, but I will probably go for something else if that's the case. I don't want to pay 1000$ or more for a phone, and then have problems in a year or so. It just sucks. I will probably go for Honor Magic 4 Pro, or just wait for something else to release this year.

does anyone know whether amoled screen on exynos is compatible with the snapdragon 1?
mine is snapdragon 1 and it has the dreaded green screen flicker.
Local samsung service center say they refuse to fix it since they only sell the exynos version in my country.

There's a faint glow around the punch hole that seems to change brightness from time to time, going from barely noticeable to very noticeable
You can easily see it on gray backgrounds
I'm very disappointed with Samsung. This is no way to treat customers who pay $1000 for their flagships only to get this annoying issue. This only seems to happen on Samsung phones too
Shameful, this is my first and might just be my last Samsung phone if they don't fix this

And yes, did I mention that my display went complete crazy yesterday? It turned green all of the sudden, and I get random flickering. So yeah, I googled it and guess what? It's another problem connected with this phone and whole S20 series. So yeah, I'm just searching for another phone, I might go for S22 Ultra but I'm still not sure if it will even be Samsung. I'm taking a look at Honor Magic 4 Pro, to be honest. I'm kinda dissapointed that stuff like this is happening after not even a year of usage, but I got it used and only God knows who used it and how it was used before me.

Such a great device with crappy exynos 990 chipset that's why I didn't buy it as in my region only exynos version is available and I had horrendous experience with the S20+ in the past which was the worst phone I had ever used from Samsung in terms of overheating with pathetic battery life.

This is the last Samsung flagship that has an sd card and will most likely remain the last one forever but unfortunately this phone also has the infamous Exynos 990

I updated and everything is running fine. Battery is the same. But if on 24/7 of course it will drain. I was worried about updating. But I'm glad I did. 😊

Crocop, 04 Jan 2023I also have Exynos variant, and I can confirm that battery ... moreWith high end phones, you should use power mode .on meqdium power saving,,turn off mob data, wifi, ,location,,bluetooth etc when, not in use also always on display notifi. Also turn off many apps notification not in use. And use a software cleaner like avg cleaner.. flagships are performant,but power hungry.

Crocop, 04 Jan 2023I also have Exynos variant, and I can confirm that battery ... moreLmao I got the so called glue gate problem too but I didn't realize until someone on yt mentioned it and the comments sharing the same issue, i thought it's a common software thingy since my previous realme notch has the same thing, but it's not visible as my Samsung does. And the other problems might be the fact that I bought an 2nd hand used unit, which might have been through some heavy usage, so it explains why my unit has alot of minor lag, idk this is my first Samsung phone
