Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G

I am always a Huawei Mate series user. Recently bought a Huwaei Mate 40 pro and though the phone was fantastic and intuitive, the lack of google services disabled some of my critical apps and forced me to change to Samsung Note 20 Ultra.
After using the Note 20 Ultra for 2 weeks, I really wanted to dump away the Note 20 Ultra and go back to Huawei. Samsung really lacks the customer focus and the phone makes me boil everytime I try to on the screen.
Fingerprints access takes a long while to recognise. (i tested and 4 times longer than Mate 40pro)
Face recognition takes 4 times as long against the mate 40 pro to recognise. Worse of all, out of 10 times, it will return a "face cannot be recognised" for 4 times despite in good light condition.
And the most stupid of all, after you manage to unlock the device thru this method, you come to a blank screen and you need to make another scroll to go the the apps. Comeon, the idiot who design this and the idiot who approves this user interface must be someone who does not know how to use a smart phone. Why make folks go thru so many redundant steps before you can access your apps?
Battery life sucks. Compare to Mate 40 pro, after using the phone to play the same game at full brightness from a full charge, Mate 40 pro will still have 90% battery life, Note 20 Ultra will leave me with a 70% charge.
If I leave the phone without touching them for 12 hours from a full charge, Mate 40 pro gives me a remaining 97% charge. Note 20 ultra gives me a 90% charge, I dont know what Samsung had in the background that sucks battery power.
Cloning the phone is one of the important things that enables you to port everything into the new phone. Huawei phone clone will transfer everything. All my chat history from donkey years will be port from the old phone to new phone. But to clone the samsung phone using the smart switch, I lost 10% of my apps, and my wechat chat history was cleared, meaning I lose all the pictures and chats.
Having came from Apple Iphone 3 to Samsung Note 2, Note 3, Note 4, Note 5, Huawei mate 9, Mate 10, Mate 20 pro and Mate 40 pro and now samsung Note 20 ultrta, I must say Samsung is such a disappointment. I will revert back to Huawei and lessen my stress by dumping the Note 20 Ultra. Avoid this useless phone.

Well there's seems something terrible in Samsungs R&D department. What I see is a downgraded camera set up as compared to s20 ultra. The world is moving to ufs3.1 storage even with their mid rangers and here's Samsung with ufs3.0 with their premium device. Yet again their biased to come up with exynos shit has not changed so this time again a big NO to their 21 line up. I stayed away from s20 series for exynos shit but.......... Samsung won't end this biased polarisation to treat people differently

The Observer , 13 Jun 2021Nice to finally see someone who has no gripe with loss of 3... moreWell it's only a partial truth. All won't buy a mid ranger for 3.5jack there are many audiophiles who won't be satisfied with the quality of the sound through buds regardless of the brand. I currently have jabra elite 75t and its sound doesn't even match a jbl wired headset that costs a dozen times less, a dozen times and I literally mean it forget about the premium wired headsets.

SEUL8TR, 14 Jun 2021So thats 91% in 9 hours , without use left over night. That... moreI wish mine drained 3% in 9hrs and bear in mind i have 2 phones so this phone i use only for taking calls nothing else and i mean nothing else.nothing is on no bluetooth no wifi no internet no location no always on display..nothing is on.my Note10+ is for whatts app internet facebook....etc..i very dissapointed as i paid an arm and a leg for this Note 20ultra 5G..i expected much more for the price this phone costs.for a phone this expensive i expect 120hz refresh rate like S20ultra.btter cameras.atleast 5000mah battery if not more.much much better ram mangement resulting in longer lasting battery.and basically more features.Samsung has like just upgraded their same old features for the past few years.no new tech or no new features.jyust same old featuresbasically all we paying for now is slight upgraded old features, nothing new.The next Note whatever they call it must comebuilt in with airconditioner, true wireless charging(Not putting it on a dock) 65watt fast charging(with charger in box).i miss the days when you open the box and it comes with virtually all the accessories like Nokia used to give..please come back Nokia......

The Critic , 13 Jun 2021What has the Note 10 or Note 20 lost? 3.5mm jack? The Iris ... moreI have both the Note 9 and Note 20 Ultra so I can compare well. Note 9 has 512 GB internal memory + SD card, that is more storage than Note 20 Ultra (!!). A lot of people (if you didn't notice) really miss the 3.5mm jack. I don't because I have Buds+ but still, it is a feature that got removed. Also wired earphones sound way better than Buds+ even with Note 20 Ultra type-C earphones. Next, infinity display was removed and there is an annoying punch-hole camera on the front (it's even bigger on the Note 10+). Then there is no iris scanner as you said which was my primary method of unlocking the phone. Much more secure than fingerprint that barely works on the Note 20 Ultra. They also removed the notification diode that I found extremely useful. Now I have to use Always On display which consumes much more battery and still I can't see the notification there as clearly as on the Note 9. Additionally, there is no more hear-rate + stress sensor and you have to buy a watch - more battery consumption because BT has to be always on AND YOU HAVE TO WEAR A WATCH even if you don't want to. And brace yourself, that watch doesn't even have blood oxygen measurement that the Note 9 sensor has! Another issue is that speakers on the Note 9 sounds absolutely fantastic but Note 20 Ultra sounds like the sound is coming from underground, it's not rich and full anymore (probably because they had to lower the size of the top speaker). Next, they switched S-Pen position - now it's not comfortable to use as previously. If that's not enough for you, they also switched the bottom speaker grille and it's now on the other side compared to the Note 9 which means you block that whole speaker with your hand when gaming; this is extremely annoying. You could turn the phone upside down but then you have that camera cut-out on your right side and some game elements can be blocked or when there is a black bar, you have to reach further to control the game -> unusable. And last but not least, the phone gets even more hot than the Note 9 when gaming - and Note 9 already gets pretty hot. Also overall battery stamina is much lower (just see rating on this website for both devices). The only aspect of the Note 10+ and Note 20 Ultra that is actually better is the design but that's not enough for me which is why I will have extremely high expectations from the Note 22 or whatever it is called and if it doesn't deliver and check all the marks, then Note 20 Ultra will sadly be my last Note ever. They have plenty of time so they better do it right. PS.: those were the good times when our biggest problem with the Note 9 was the missing IR blaster. I still miss it from the Note 4, it was one of the (many) greatest features Samsung had on the market and the magic I could do with it with my TV or in stores when shopping was just brilliant. Of course, that feature didn't come back with newer Note phones.

We know Sams... moreNice to finally see someone who has no gripe with loss of 3.5mm jack from the premium devices and appreciate the benefits of wireless headsets. For those who makes this an issue just buy a midrange phone while the world moves on. I have been using wireless headsets for 8 years now. No regrets and sound is wonderful

Solun1, 24 May 2021It's not a bad idea to sell it while you'll still... moreWhat has the Note 10 or Note 20 lost? 3.5mm jack? The Iris Scanner ? The note 9 is 3 years old so why buy a 3 year device? The Note 10 plus is a beautiful phone.....12 Ram stock 256 internal memory and large 6.8 screen for viewing media and playing games and the battery life is better than the Note 20. If you so like the 3.5mm Jack better you buy a A Series but if you want a value for money phone which will get a few updates then the Note 10 plus is a good phone to have. I have it for 1 year and 2 months and no issues but seeing plenty complaints about the Note 20

I'm writing this to share my experience on Note 20 and Note 9
I eventually purchased the Note 9 Snapdragon version (dual sim 8 GB RAM with 512 GB).
What I liked about the Note 9:
- Fingerprint is absolutely amazing
- close shots are better with the Note 9
- Outdoor brightness is better than Note 20 ultra surprisingly under direct sun light
- Grip and hold is better
However, I ended up going back to my Note 20 Ultra for these reasons:
- fast, smooth with the 120 Hz
- Bigger screen is useful
- indoor brightness is best. Outdoor brightness however Note 9 is better
- Software and update is the latest
- No Note 22 expected this year
Hope that helps someone deciding between both

I am using this phone from 10 months and already changed display which costs a lot of money. curved display is not user friendly. Its more sensitive then flat display, type c port is not comfortable for playing audio.. audio needs 3.5mm jack ..phone companies are making flagship phones without thinking costumers proper demand ..
