AnonD-486444, 23 Mar 2016Where is the dose mode. I didn't find it. Also how use phon... moreYou won't have to do anything to use the new Doze feature. There are no switches or settings you need to toggle, and once you've updated to Marshmallow it just works. That is, when it's supposed to work.
And that's the thing. You won't see any benefit from Doze while your phone is in your pocket and you're working or at school. Things need to be idle, and that means really idle.
For Doze to kick in, your phone needs to be sitting still with the screen off, and not connected to a charger. That means no moving around and nudging the gyro or other motion sensors, no touching the screen or the buttons and no waving your hand around in front of it.
Landscape mode is not built it in touchwiz launcher or lockscreen however there are apps to change the orientation of screen i have been doing this from a very long time with my note2 , note3 and previous smartphones but the lollipop on note5 did not support the landscape mode at all however after marshmallow update it works like charm.

I'm expecting the battery (3800+) will give over 100 hours on the GSMa test.
Combined with fast charge (60% in 30min) it should be enough for most people.

Worst things of updating Samsung phones from it's current os to newest one for e.g. Lollipop to Marshmallow facing lots of issues in connectivity after updating like WiFi & mobile data connection gets break after few seconds.
So, Samsung send us firmware update as quickly as possible we are using high end mobile please keep some human values for our money.

I got the same battery life as i used to get before the update. 100% to 30% in 7 hours 38 minutes. Screen on time 2 hours 58 minutes. Gaming( clash of clan n clash royale) 42 minutes. 3G on all the time. Youtube for 11 minutes. Calling 42 minutes.

Do you ... moreIt would be fantastic if future devices are very efficient and with ample battery that you can get through days with even heavy usage like turning on GPS always, as you said. You even boasted having your screen on full brightness.
Why do we have to keep carrying powerbanks/charger/charging pad/extra smartphone like your Huawei ShotX just so we can compensate or underuse your main device so that we can get through the day?
Current battery tech still can't answer the power needs of contemporary smartphones. A removable battery can give options to extended batteries.
Samsung, bring removable battery back to the Note 6.
