The GN6 will be a massive upgrade on the GN5.
The GN7 will probably be a modest upgrade on the GN6.
Its a real shame for GN5 owners locked into 2 year contracts... Lol :-)

Tcool, 21 Mar 2016Go buy a DSLR camera if you are concern about the camera no... moreFunny, i remember people saying a similar thing when discussing the camera quality on a 2MP Nokia phone in the mid 2000's.... guess what... phone cameras like the S7 are now better than SLR cameras from the mid 2000s in many situations/areas.... Lucky for users Samsung doesn't consider these features "minor specs"... as you like to call them :-)
Missing "minor specs" like a micro sd card cause result in poor sales.... aka the GN5.

O maybe you are talking of the plastic Note 3, that don't support VR and doesn't have fingerprint security, yeah you are right on that.

LOL

The larger camera MP makes the image worse.
Higher screen resolutions hammer the GPU with no visual advantage.

This was GSMarenas conclusion comparing the G5 and S7 cameras
"The S7 edge's strength lies in photography. Its photos are sharper and richer in detail. This advantage becomes only more pronounced the darker the scene gets. HDR really comes into its own when there's a great difference in the lightest and darkest parts of the image."

The GN6 to GN7 wont be as great as the jump from the GN5 to GN6.... The GN5 really should have had sd, dust/water proofing, bigger camera improvement and bigger battery... Samsung missed a trick with the GN5 and their sales suffered.
