AnonD-430264, 05 Jan 2016You can already get Marshmallow on Note 3 via CM13. That's ... moreI don't trust that, I only trust the official release.

Anyway, there is nothing to loose for the primitive phone Note 3 so you can go ahead with that. Good luck. Wahaha!

AnonD-430264, 06 Jan 2016That's great! However I'm not talking about "tons" of roms,... moreYes, u can even say that Cynogen roms are now divided in two catagories if u are aware lots of mobile OEM's are buying them for there roms so they are now getting paid for the few specific hardwares..so they are now putting all there talented heads where it will make money but for smartphones like note3 and the likes of it they are still rolling at the same old bug's story..

Dont get me wrong,I am not saying that the touchwiz based stock roms do not have any bugs but if you compair any stock rom to a custom rom u will find that the stock roms have only 5 to 7 bugs but a custom roms cud have like 100 to 150 bugs..this is just a ratio example for u.they cud be little more or less in both cases.
again the money part plays a huge role in a development of any roms and thats a fact.

and this one has the best screen dpi IMO.
ofcource there are lots of other features.
hopefully android 6.0 on note5 will rock as well.
I dont mind waiting for some time for android 6.0 update for note5 but i expect a well thought update .

That's the difference: they are an Inc not someone trying to get their feet wet in coding.

Regardless; I have a full-blown TouchWiz on my phone that has a ton of bugs also. I have to hope for a whole new Android update to hopefully fix the issues. It's not about cherry picking just to complain about something, these are issues that I need to work as advertised.

IMO software making is not a joke!
A stock rom is 100 times well thought than a custom rom.

The simple reason for that is the guys who get paid to develop the roms put there entire talent in it moreover they become creative as they get paid.
                              vs
The bunch of new or old devlopers who do not get nothing but mostly a bunch of thanks and optional donation amount only ,so all this results in a not so well thought roms which most of the times will tend to have lots of bugs.

Otherwise, just a quick Google search shows Note 3 is getting 6.0 in Q1 2016 for At&t customers. So essentially they are getting it around the same time Note 5 users are.

I don't care about Samsung Pay, nor always slow wireless charging, and most especially the silliness of fragile glass back.
