After hearing (boasting) a lot about this phablet I chose one and made the first mistake.
Same samsung Problem, lagging / slower. Uploaded 6 pics of lower resolution, phone started to cry...
HTC has better working situation than this one.
Note 5 .....Total Waste of hard earned money. Better to go either with iphone or HTC.

Tcool, 04 Jan 2016Logically speaking it is just a matter of time management. ... moreThat's fine. No matter what type of work you do, don't forget about the entrepreneurs out there that work for themselves. Phones at supposed to appeal to a wide variety of the market, not only the majority.

It's the niche guys like me (which is a market in itself) that can create 100's of thousands of additional sales, "if" these companies it's weren't only focused on status quo. It only takes a bit more lines of coding, an addition of hardware that would far out weight the costs and gain profit if done that way.

My beef isn't that there's no SD Card slot, removable battery. My beef is that Samsung from a marketing standpoint is marketing to what's cool and "in."

That's why my phone has so many issues with multitasking. I've missed so many calls, texts, had my screen stuck in horizontal mode (had to restart), it takes away from my productivity. That's why I got this phone to begin with.

Now before you say it's just me, it's not. Tons of complaints in forums. Also like I've said before my fiancé got the same phone. Now hers is going the same route.

The all I see is commercials of hip-hop prancing around drawing dumb pictures from Samsung (North America) where it seems they forgot about the Note market.

That's what I'm saying. If you don't see my point it's cool. But it hurts me as a consumer using a product that's not intended for what it's always been intended for.

I am not paid to do my work while I am outside the office unless it is paid overtime, hence no way I would do my work while on the road. No need to store work files in the phone if it should be done in the workstation, not on the road, not in home or wherever. Time management to finish the job in office is the key to success.

Might as well NOT have a COPY at all on my device because I should have only one set stored in an HDD at home so they're all safe. /S

Tcool, 04 Jan 2016I got your point but I am not talking of that kind of secur... moreNo, my files are actually backed up to my phone from my computer so I can work on them while I'm on the road.

Things I do onot the road are picture/video related. That correlates with my work. I then take that back to my workstation to finish editing since no way this phone can do what my computer can do.

                    That's all.

Has nothing to do with cloud or whatever. Don't get offended I'm trying to be logical.

What I mean, once your phone is stolen with your important files in your SD card in it, you cannot use them anymore and they are gone forever.
Don't tell me you got backed up cause it will be the same as saving them in cloud or HDD, so if that is the case, no need to save them in phone. Keep them safe in your cloud or HDD or USB memory stick.

Meantime, I have e-books, audio files that are so not secret that fill up my microSD card. I would think the smarter user would have his files automatically uploaded to cloud, and not totally depend on keeping them on one device.

When I had an SD Card, pretty easy... lock all files with a password that are job related.

There are so many ways to protect your files out there. Hate to jab at you but, do you even have a career or are you some retail worker?

Sorry in advance if I offended you. Kind of :)

No need to store important files in the phone as the phone may get stolen and all the important files with it. No matter how much you encrypt the files, once the phone was stolen, they are gone forever. Unless the one who steal the phone will return your 128 GB expansion memory card which is far from reality. LOL!

mb20, 04 Jan 2016What do you with red-eye when shooting photo at night?Don't think there's a possibility of fix as far as auto correcting red eye while taking the picture.

I just had this issue with my daughter during the holidays.

                                    Easy fix:

Go to the picture in "gallery"
                                    Select "edit" - "photo editor"
In photo editor select "portrait" - "fix red eye"
Then all you have to do is tap on the eyes in the photo and it's corrected.

I could even do it perfectly with my fat fingers lol

                                    Enjoy!
