The comment section in Note5 getting more and more boring. Not to mentioned the series of essays these people wrote up. Couldn't you guys just write something simple like "I love Note5" or "Don't like it".

Mark, 01 Oct 2015I was planning to buy this but no removable battery kills t... moreOh, yes, it can do those functions, and I too rely on my Note 3 as my 24/7 device. I even put it on a power timer at home as my LTE hotspot, as it's faster than my home connection.
I was expecting the Note.5 as my upgrade this year, but we all know what Samsung had decided to underwhelm it. My region only offers the 32GB version. It doesn't make sense if I carried 2 devices, abandon the 128GB memory expansion, and carry charger/powerbank/charger pad just to keep its power topped up.

absolut-allen, 01 Oct 2015What's really going to irritate me is the rumors of Samsung... moreYikes. Sounds bad enough. It's about $860 for the 32GB version where I live. Isn't UFS 2.0 like more than 3 times faster than eMMC memory and that Exynos processor suppose to be all fast? Maybe that constant active RAM closing causing the problems?
Hehe, all I want is a reliable versatile pocket device with an active digitizer pen for daily needs, with with EVERYTHING what previous Note could do.

I was planning to buy this but no removable battery kills the deal. I am a heavy user, 24/7 data for streaming news, videos in morning, emails, IMs and social, recording meeting videos, sharing documents during work, streaming TVs on way back in the evening...
After less than a year, my note 4's battery seemed no longer good. I purchased a genuine replacement battery for $30 something and it was good as new. I really feel sorry for those note 5 users when they had to bring it back to Samy to replace its battery. nowadays battery ages quite quickly.
I'll wait for the 820 + 4GB ram and android m (6.x better battery management) with sd and removable battery. LG G5 will be my first choice. Or Samy S7/Note 7, if they can bring back the sd and removable battery. otherwise it's a goodbye to Samy, we had fun.

absolut-allen, 01 Oct 2015Well then you're lucky.
I've had to restart mine severa... moreWhat's really going to irritate me is the rumors of Samsung flirting with Qualcomm as their next successor processor. Where does that leave Note 5 in terms of future support with this test run Exynos system?
It reminds me of the LG Flex that everyone forgot about.
Not asking for the world from a 5.7" smartphone, but I just built a Core i5 4690k computer with 32GB ram, Crossfire Radeon GPUs, 16TB+ hard drive space that can run circles around 20+ Note 5's for $700US. I should be able to at least spell "mine" not "mone" and do basic multitasking in an $800+US smartphone with 4GB ram and an 8 core processor :/

AnonD-90110, 01 Oct 2015There is no issue with Note5 I am using itWell then you're lucky.
I've had to restart mine several times because my text ringtone stops working. I've turned sound down, back up, but won't work without a restart. I've even cleared all apps and app cache to no avail.
My multitasking takes several times to actual dual screen. I have to select the same 2nd app over and over before it split screens.
I've smart selected with the S-Pen to get the error not enough is selected. This happens selecting from one edge of the screen to the other.
I've had many delays in programs such as Facebook on wifi and LTE.
I've bookmarked several sites only to find they never really bookmarked. This never happened in my Galaxy S4.
Also my history disappears in Chrome. Yet again never happened in my S4.
There are times when I'm drawing with the pen and I get line breaks. I have to undo and retry just to get the line right.
I've had unread messages that I had no idea because my notification didn't blink.
I've had missed calls when I never heard the phone ring.
My camera flash has turned off a few times (today actually) and I couldn't get a good shot in a darker room until I turned ot back on. Too late then.
My "paste" icon gets stuck on the screen (like right now) while typing this. Took a screenshot.
Sometimes my keyboard vibrate stops working for no reason. I have to clear app cache to get it back.
I've had several times while on call that my screen doesn't light back up when I move the phone so I can hang up. I have to hit the right side button to turn my screen back on to see what's going on. Then there are times wits the slightest movement my screen lights up way too much on calls.
On that note I've also had my phone call bar that sits at the top of the screen while in call disappear for no reason. It's annoying.
There are times my screen blacks out before the 30 second timeout. There are also times I swear it's set to 60 seconds because it doesn't want to timeout when it should.
There's a spider on my wall, but that has nothing to do with the Note 5. I will have to serve justice on the bug in a way that might make activists angry.
But all I all, no heat issues, it's a fast phone (most of the time). Its very buggy. At least mine is. BTW.. I love how the keyboard didn't recognize "mine" and kept autocorrecting it to "mone." Had to hit the checkmark to get proper English.
This phone has it great ups at times, but also the "I'm going to throw the damn thing at the wall" for not doing the basics.

Anonymouses, 30 Sep 2015Surface phone is a great concept. But even the surface tabl... moreSurface Pro 3 comes in 64, 128, 256 and 512GB of internal SSD, can be expanded with a micro SD card, and has a full USB 3.0 port.
If the Surface Pro starts at about $799 with 64GB & 4GB RAM running Full Windows, $800+ for the 32GB Note.5 seems very overpriced.
Their budget Surface 3 starts at $499, at 64GB, and has even an LTE data connection version. And can go 128GB at $599.
