Considering the preorders for the Note 5 that I've seen its doing pretty well.Its already went out of stock even in preorders in my country. Its doing Better than what the Note 4 did.
Note5 a topnotch smartphone at the moment.
S6 edge+ is selling less due to less screen estate and its for ppl who want a very attractive and head turning device and r ready to sacrifice the screen estate but Note5 has full 5.7" screen real estate and a design which is simple yet stylish, its back (which is mostly seen by ppl) is even more stylish than the S6 Edge+
Along with that Note5 has more productive features than S6 Edge+.
For ppl who were or are upset cause of IR blaster ommision plz note that there are lots of 3rd party alternatives for IR blaster.which can b used with 3.5 mm jack of almost any smartphone.

A person who wants to be both a producer and consumer at the same time. That is not normal. You want to control every single thing from the Note5 including removing battery, sd card format, larger battery possibly with zerolemon and all plus other things. That is what prosumer do. We are normal consumer who use this phone as it is and not trying to tweak it and be a smarty pants engineer all day long. You still have a hard time accepting this? Its almost October. Get over it already.
