A person who wants to be both a producer and consumer at the same time. That is not normal. You want to control every single thing from the Note5 including removing battery, sd card format, larger battery possibly with zerolemon and all plus other things. That is what prosumer do. We are normal consumer who use this phone as it is and not trying to tweak it and be a smarty pants engineer all day long. You still have a hard time accepting this? Its almost October. Get over it already.

Being a lecturer of university doesn't mean you need to write a super long thesis in here. Nobody read this. Even your student. They probably do.zed off during your ultra bo.ring class.

You can have extended battery, newer battery, fresh battery, and can inspect for flaws of the battery every 3 months, or when needed. Sacrificing utility so that the device is a FRACTION of a millimeter thinner, and smaller battery is stupid, and limited thinking.
2. You can still load media on the card from your PC. You have the option of NOT to use it also. If you've read articles about Microsoft asking $15 per every Android device made, it's about the exFAT/FAT format patent dispute, and looks like Samsung doesn't want paying for that anymore.
Do you know what's even more stupid? - having less options. Galaxy Note is suppose to be the best of the best, most versatile, and yes, more options you can do with that $1000+ device you spent on.
I'd like to OWN the devices I buy, not just be a dependent RENTER of cloud storage, service center repairs, more data usage, and can't do much compared to to older, or midranged device - " hey, I can do these functions with my $300-$500 device, how come your $1000+ device can't?"

Looks like advance bookings of this phone in Bangalore - India is week according a retailer I spoke too.
Not looking good for Sami on the note 5 too.

I don't know why sooo many people are complaining about this device, especially the over-repeated statement of non-removable battery.
If you like it then buy, if you don't like then don't buy it, simple. I certainly wouldn't mind being the only Note 5 user on this earth.
However if you do want to join, go for the Gold Platinum color. You certainly won't regret =]

Its a prove that smartphone technology is leaving the sd slot for good. It already raised one million dollars through Kickstarter campaign.

1) How stupid it is to remove the battery cover again and again, it closes all running apps saved in the memory
2) How stupid it is to not have full access to the Micro sd card slot without root.

I see they integrated Google Drive into the file explorer. Cloud isn't the answer to good ol' independent files... yet for MOST. I have 119GB out of the 128GB of micro SD inside my Note 3 - totally beats the waiting time accessing my 200GB OneDrive. It took over 5 minutes this morning to download a 23mb PPT file for me to edit in an area with only a fluctuating 3G signal.

I have bougth the whole galaxy series from beginning. But now when they have taken the decision to apple the Phones without memory card slot and battery changes. I just see a good Phone goes to the grave

The language differences is obvious and gibberish. Why even bother listening to radio. If you talking about American traveling to UK or England, then it is reasonable.
