AnonD-259274, 09 Sep 2015So you doesn't feel hard when carrying three battery in you... moreI only carry one extra. I get 100% power after a minute of swapping, rather than wait about 1 hour or even more for a charge and carry that powerbank in my pocket. Here's a comparison of sizes:

And in case you don't know what is a desktop battery cradle charger is:

Cycling batteries is a good idea to prolong charging cycles. You need not even do it daily if you don't use your device heavily. Cycling them once a month easy enough for you?

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2015I think everyone knows that. I still keep my old phone. The... moreYou'd need an Otterbox case in order to protect that glass back - it's damn ugly thick and totally eliminates that sleekness that the tech reviewers seem to rave about. Putting only some skin would still break that back glass - I really can't believe that Samsung had to spend bending the sides of that glass in the production. All because some people need something shiny to show off, and call it "premium". If anyone wants to have status - get a Vertu. Samsung had to make this less practical and flawed so that Apple fans can flock over to the Note - even with easier with nano SIM slots with no memory expansion so they can't be confused where files go.
Trust me, the Apple users I know who needed a Galaxy Note for annotating plans have the inability of reading manuals, or know that there's an infrared remote control for projectors or TVs - they keep going to the custodians for the remote controller where I work.

AnonD-259274, 09 Sep 2015Errrr..... Sorry...do you know got a product that call &quo... moreEr, I am talking about the degregation of batteries - be it you carry a powerbank or not. I actually have 3 powerbanks. But try carrying them in your pocket - anything less than 10,000mAh is hardly the trouble carrying in your pockets. That's why I they should have went with the removable battery system.

TheNeighbor, 09 Sep 2015Not really exactly 1 year. About 300 to 500 charge cycles. ... moreI think everyone knows that. I still keep my old phone. The early 2000s feature phone. All of their batteries bulge up and crack the back cover. Never think to replace the battery though because I'm using smartphone now. Maybe sell it when some agency start to establish a Phone Museum. Note5 performance is fine. The lack of feature is also fine for non-power user. I'm sure Samsung will make something for the older Note user soon. The only true drawbacks of Note5 is the ram management. It is too quick to kill the apps in the background in recently open apps tab. I find this bothersome to wait it to reload again. The glass back desin doesn't bother me. I could put durable casing on it. A waterproof casing would be nice to cover for the lack of IP rating as well.

AnonD-438351, 09 Sep 2015Hm.. I tot the same Samsung Note 5 will not get much custom... moreSorry but you can't defend yourself.
Note 5 don't have many demand.
I can said with a proof.
1. Note 4 is more demand because it's international wide range.
2. Note 5 is LESS demand because it's didn't released in europe and UK.
3. Note 5 have many LESS in any perspective : No Removable Battery, No IR, No Micro SD, Spen Problem, Glass Design (It's good for show, but for durability it's very bad one).
4. In a result of research, people that bought Note 5 80% is first user Notes that didn't own previous Notes. All previous Notes User is so upset, few of them is forced to buy and said that this is Upgrade (CPU, LTE, Fingerprint, Camera, Spen Software Features) and Downgrade (Less Features, Design Flaw).
Its not about trend, it's about features !!
If you want a trend buy crapple. Note 5 shouldn't have less features because people will leave from samsung. We know the truth, What's make Notes so special is it's features not the high specification, Soon, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will make a flip down to Note 5. And Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra will make a momentum, for it.
You can smile with your Note 5, but do you know about people behind you, they give you a little smirk and say "I will backward his spen, or should I make he drop it, 1 meter is enough. :)"
I say the truth, Note 5 is Beautiful and Powerful. But, for powerful it won't last few month, with less features and bad design (durability). Bad move samsung.

AnonD-438351, 09 Sep 2015Hm.. I tot the same Samsung Note 5 will not get much custom... moreThank you for the review. I'm currently a Note 3, and was hoping the 5 will actually top my current, as I'll get a "free" device for my service renewal.
Not such a chance with so many things wrong with this. That battery performance will eventually start showing as early as 4th month or so. With even 3 months left to go till my contact renewal, I got a 128GB and 3 new battery sets for my Note 3. As a heavy user of even sometimes 2GB daily data usage, I can't bare the thought keeping this plugged in about 3 times and wait, and no chance to personally change the battery for better efficiency.

AnonD-237139, 08 Sep 2015Non-removable battery is big problem for customers, because... moreIt would be that bad la! It depends how your take care of your phone battery la!
The main concern is advise people dun play with the phone while charging the phone, it will cause the battery to have shorter life
I found that non removeable battery will not heat up that fast with this Note 5 - I tried to play games on my phone for an hours, yet to feel heat on the hand. I believe the battery life will for sure more than 1 year la! n I beleive non-removable battery will have long life compare to removable

Would like to share my opinion after using this phone for few days..
I am consider as quiet a heavy user. My daily usage on the phone is more than 5 hours/day...I use my handphone is more than my Laptop that why I choose Note 5 as my choice of phone. Shares, games, email, social media activity -FB, Tweet, Watapps, wechat etc, news feed is my major activity with my phone. without the phone I am easily dying..
1) Battery life overall is reasonable. With all my heavy usage as per mentioned it can last for one full day (at least for now I still can share my opinion with gsmarena.)
2) N5 Performance was fluid and responsive. I dun have much complain
3) Performance satisfied compared to previous Note 3 (Of course for sure). The main issued is N5 doesnt heat up that fast. I play for COC for an hour found that there is not much heat is felt on my palm.
overall I give 4 star out of 5.
Why only 4- SD card lol.. now thinking to look for OTG card already and see how

AnonD-431572, 09 Sep 2015Internal battery, how long it will last? before reach it's ... moreNot really exactly 1 year. About 300 to 500 charge cycles. If you fully discharge & recharge twice daily, you are guaranteed efficiency of about 5 to 8 months. That's why I cycle 3 batteries, guaranteeing me up to two years of power efficiency.
It really depends on your usage too, and avoidance of heating (or extreme cold) - mostly heat reduces the ability of the chemical composition of the battery to hold better charges or longer power discharge.
Then also, the Depth of Discharge (DOD) should not be so much so your charging cycles can increase, even up to 10 times more if you charge after 10% to 30% of battery discharge. The best advice is to keep your charge between 40% to 80% - avoiding deep discharged or overcharging, keeping your battery highly optimised.
Fast charging and any wireless (normal or fast) puts more stress and heat to the battery, and normal charging time should be practiced.
Of course with the sealed battery, maintenance like I mentioned would be more difficult. With a removable battery system, you can even inspect for battery defects by simply looking if it's starting to bulge. This is to avoid instability and avoidance of it exploding. I can't stress this enough - a concern of high heat fire in your pants.
Everyone should read battery university dot com. I'm not making this stuff up.
