Why would you switch to an iPhone because you no longer have an SD card or removable battery? It has neither and is worse as it does not have fast or wireless charging or the latest faster memory. Just choose another Android phoe, that is one of the many advantages of Android over IOS namely choice.

      I'll never buy SAMSUNG.

I now only buy ONEPLUS and is only half the value.

chill out bros! If less people buying the new note 5 because of no microsd slot, samsung will put it back in the next note in 2016. I am definitely not buying the new note 5 this time.

Note 4 quite good. Best I have had.
Need a bigger battery to last all day, and space on a removable media card for tunes and images. This phone is also my every day camera!

I don't think this is right or Samsung has gone crazy if they put only 3,000 mAh battery in the Note 5. Galaxy A8's 5.94 mm thickness is loaded with 3,050 mAh where Note 5 which seems to be at least 2 mm thicker (even it will have S pen eating its space) should have larger battery loaded.

One more thing is the storage. How does Samsung think to let Galaxy A8 has better storage options than Note 5?

I myself hope Note 5 should come with:
                    - 5.7 inches Gorilla Glass 4 slim bezel @ 1440p resolution
                    - less than 8 mm thick
                    - Exynos 7422 (ePOP)

                    - RAM 4 GB

                    - Internal Storage 32/64 GB with a hybrid slot for micro SD or SIM2
                    - Improved S pen stylus
                    - Camera : rear 16 MP with OIS / front 8 MP

                    - Battery >3500 mAh

I can over look the no SD card and the non removable battery as long as they make a version with enough built in memory. What I don't understand is that I have always thought of the Note line as the powerhouse of phones the phone that had the most the biggest and best of the samsungs and really any phone manufacturer and this just isn't. It's a non edged S6 plus with a pen. I have been holding off upgrading from my Note 3 to upgrade to this I may still do it, I am on the fence but after hearing the rumors and seeing the current specs I am disappointed. I just hope that they are wrong and samsung fooled us all and the Note 5 blows us out of the water tomorrow.

Unfortunately, most people these days are into immediate gratification. The desire to have the latest and greatest will definitely win out over a consolidated effort to push the manufacturer to develop phone that is in line with the needs of loyal Samsung customers. Unfortunately, we will succomb to the wims of a company that we have propelled into the "MEGA" company range.
I have been a loyal Samsung customer since I had to give up my Treo :-) I did not go Apple or Blackberry despite the fact that they have used more premium build materials. I held out knowing that Samsung would one day get the message and start building a premium device which would match the premium features that I have come to love. Who knew that I would have to sacrifice 2 of the most important features, removable battery and storage, just to get a premium look.
Please tell me, why loyal Samsung customers could not have both? Please tell me why Samsung had to cower to Apple and create the Android iPhone? I as certain that in a few years Apple would be forced to do a complete redesign to gain back it's customer base lost to Samsung. I say we make them give us what we want, I say we don't sacrifice, I say we don't support this new design and I say that we as consumers exercise our voice and our financial power to force manufactures to provide us with a quality device, with the features we want without any short cuts. Let's face it, the device is a tad overpriced, we should have been graced with premium materials such as metal and gorilla glass @ the Note2 and the S4. Here we are @ the Note5 and all I can say is "What the heck Samsung!?"
I passed on upgrading to the Note4, the only one I haven't owned. I predict an increase in sales and demand for the Note4 until Samsung goes back to the drawing board and releases a Note5S, which will be redesigned to include removable storage and a larger capacity removable battery. And while they are at it, please add the built in loop to connect a lanyard or wristlet. I love a large phone, and I am not a fan of bulky cases, so Samsung lets go back to the simple things that don't require to much in the way of a design change.
Again, I am a huge fan of Samsung, not so much of a "MEGA" company that despite their huge success and profits imposes short cuts and copy cat devices on their loyal customers.

If Samsung are trying to loose customers they're doing a great job the things I love about my note are the things they're no removable battery no simcard slot what I guess I'll give LG a shot.I love my note 4 thought the 5 would be a seamless transition but seems I'm wrong go figure

i enjoyed my galaxy note 4 and i still prefer removable battery and an SD card on it. Without it, i dont think i would upgrade to note 5. It has low battery life, wouldnt last a day for me and no sd card for additional sotrage. Marketing manager of this product should resign, he doesnt know what people wants, they tend to copy apple again.Premuim style.
