AnonD-428567, 12 Aug 2015Didn't Samsung already introduce this phone ( galaxy S6 )? ... moreIn response to why people (the ones you call Samtards) buy these Samsung devices that are becoming more and more like Apple - which you imply they hate. I do agree that we buy Samsung devices because they are different from Apple's. Yes, we buy them because they have removable batteries and expandable memory. However, we also buy them because of the fact that it's an Android, and was one of the best flagship Android devices when comparing benchmark tests in terms of hardware.
TLDR: We buy Androids for a few reasons
1. Removable battery (I carry a spare and just replace when it's dead)
2. Removable Memory
3. Usually High end performance
4. Android (not stuck in Apple's Locked garden where you can't customize)
However...given the sad turn that Samsung has taken to copy Apple to appease those that always ask for a "Premium feeling phone" I will not be upgrading from my Note 3 to the Note 5. I expect innovation and improvements with new products...not downgrades.
Also in this day and age with our technological advancements, you're telling me you can't make a glass back/metal phone with a push button that pops open a removable memory card...similar to how apple's sim card is removed? You can't make a metal backing that pops open with a switch that removes a battery?

AnonD-389805, 13 Aug 2015Switching to another Android may sound easy but there is on... moreLG G4 is a flop itself in South Korea. The Korean complained overheating and outdated specs compare to Galaxy S6. Lg G3 users said it is not tempting enough for an upgrade. With 80,000 unit of sales per month it is not reaching 70million unit sales target by this year.

Why would you switch to an iPhone because you no longer have an SD card or removable battery? It has neither and is worse as it does not have fast or wireless charging or the latest faster memory. Just choose another Android phoe, that is one of the many advantages of Android over IOS namely choice.

Note 4 quite good. Best I have had.
Need a bigger battery to last all day, and space on a removable media card for tunes and images. This phone is also my every day camera!

I don't think this is right or Samsung has gone crazy if they put only 3,000 mAh battery in the Note 5. Galaxy A8's 5.94 mm thickness is loaded with 3,050 mAh where Note 5 which seems to be at least 2 mm thicker (even it will have S pen eating its space) should have larger battery loaded.
One more thing is the storage. How does Samsung think to let Galaxy A8 has better storage options than Note 5?
I myself hope Note 5 should come with:
- 5.7 inches Gorilla Glass 4 slim bezel @ 1440p resolution
- less than 8 mm thick
- Exynos 7422 (ePOP)
- RAM 4 GB
- Internal Storage 32/64 GB with a hybrid slot for micro SD or SIM2
- Improved S pen stylus
- Camera : rear 16 MP with OIS / front 8 MP
- Battery >3500 mAh

I can over look the no SD card and the non removable battery as long as they make a version with enough built in memory. What I don't understand is that I have always thought of the Note line as the powerhouse of phones the phone that had the most the biggest and best of the samsungs and really any phone manufacturer and this just isn't. It's a non edged S6 plus with a pen. I have been holding off upgrading from my Note 3 to upgrade to this I may still do it, I am on the fence but after hearing the rumors and seeing the current specs I am disappointed. I just hope that they are wrong and samsung fooled us all and the Note 5 blows us out of the water tomorrow.
