No IR, No radio, 18 Apr 2017I repent I sold my 1 year old Note 4 for this. It has no IR... morei still have my 3 year old note 4. yuck the old touchwiz and the performance has gone down the drain and camera loosing focus and that fingerprint scanner. for its time it was "THE BEST" but now in whatever way you want to justify a note 4 in 2017 it is not worth it.

well after i update to nougat i found some problems
1- battery issue drain fast
2- fast charge become bit slow than before
3- speakers & earbase & hand free become bit low
4- bug in WiFi and the rang of it become smaller
nougat need some improvements
i hope Samsung send a fix update this month

The way the redesign the pull down notifications is rubbish, the made it difficult to navigate.....they really should do something about it
The previous version is way better.

Seriously! I am very happy with the update. Because of the update, it easily beats up other devices in 2016 and 2017. Feels like new. Very smooth. I don't regeret the decision buying this phone. Battery life and new features similar to the Note 7 were added. I could not ask for more. Still is a beautiful phone with an S pen. Display choices are there! Resolution among others are superb! Thanks Samsung!

I was also facing serious battery drain issue and weak signals on jio, yesterday i visited samsung service centre, they updated my phone to 6.01 from 7.0, cheers.

Signal problem after update. Please somebody help me. Iam using jio sim Before update i was getting good coverage & i can make calls very easily but after i updated my note5 to nougat i cant be able to make calls easily. Now For calling i have to enable/disable flight mode.

True, 09 Apr 2017Thanks bro, but i already reset(erased) 2 times but did not... morei am not talking about reset i am talking about loading up a fresh copy of firmware from the service center. how many times ever you reset the firmware stays same but in service center the guys load a new copy of the firmware from computer. try that maybe it will get better but if you made up your mind on rotting and roms then that is always best.

Further, my phone is just 5 months old, before updating to Nougut, my battery life was great.
My main concern is battery, when i checked my battery usage, its SOT-4HRS, Phone idle:23%, why phone idle eating 20-23% , this was not before update, was easily getting 5HRS SOT.
please help out, thanks.

True, 09 Apr 2017Completely agree with you, and also there is a weak signal ... moremy jio network is absolutely strong bro no issues there. my battery life became better than what it was in marshmallow. that clearing recent apps lag is true but practically speaking very minimal to notice until compared side by side which i did. btw to downgrade you have to root and that will trip knox and no warranty after that. however i would suggest you to go to the nearest service center and tell them to flash it again which they will do for free if under warranty.
