It is not specifically the Exynos that ruins it, but the Cortex A57, which is known for overheating and high power draw. The Snapdragon 808 and 810 have similar problems with heat. The Cortex A72 from the following year mostly fixed it (Exynos 8890)....

The problem isnt about the software itself but the hardware inside. Neither the screen nor the speaker is draining the battery. It is just the bad CPU that people keep complaining about

But the Exynos chip ruins everthing. Got 91% on charge and booted it up normally. It gave me 88% after boot. The Exynos also runs bad on PUBGM LITE (LITE, not NEW ERA) because to overheating. I dont recommend this phone if it is for daily gaming. But...
